Dude this video is great!!! I followed the steps while you were talking and now ALL of my contacts from my android phone are on my Windows phone! I called tech support at AT&T and that dumb woman I was talking too couldn't figure out how to do it. Hi - thank you so much - three hours after messing about and then watched your video and it worked. Only problem I had to begin with was I hadn't realised I'd never pulled 'people' over from outlook to google so they weren't there, but when I figured it out phew ..... so for any other twit like me - go into outlook, click on 'people' and it will ask if you want to export to google/yahoo/twitter etc - exported to google, signed in on both phones et voila yaaaay :D

NOKIA 520 only. After hours of headaches and hasstles and trying everything i can think of as well as following all instructions and videos... I finally got it! First of all I went crazy trying to find "Transfer Contacts" or "Transfer My Data" on my phone, turns out I do not have them as the other phones shown do!! Hit the Exploer icon and do a search for Tranfer My Data app, you will have to create a microsoft live email account if u do not have one, once u create one u can then download it to your phone. Bingo there it is now! just follow the steps given when u hit the app, very simple, note that you must have bluetooth on your old device. The search for "Tranfer Contacts" app suggests aa&t website and the app is called "AT&T Mobile Transfer", again follow the steps good luck and I hope this helps others.

Android to Windows OK... But you flew past from Windows to Google to damn fast😢. For instance a person shifting(usually) will have an outlook account. Will it be"accepted" on an Android platform. And finally what about WhatsApp account history... Does that get transferred too... Please clarify. Thank you

first go to settings on your windows phone, open contact settings or people. then choose syncronize all contacts full, and then do 5 jumping jacks, and wipe your butt without toilet paper and then eat a bowl of honey nut cheerios and your good to go bud

The problem with my Nokia Lumia 635 phone is that it doesn't want to open ANYTHING. Not even email+accounts. I can't even download any apps cuz of this error that occurred a year ago. I tried fixing it with what other people have suggested thru microsoft support, nothing worked. I feel like this phone is literally just not working anymore. I just need my contacts over and sync my phone, but it doesn't even want to open the transfer data part so I can put anything in my other phone.

NaKa Ji just had the same problem.
I literally had to have someone help me transfer by relaying all the contacts and numbers individually, they have supposedly a easy data transfer that only works as Bluetooth but for my unfortunate circumstance my Bluetooth connection would not pair and would error out as well. And now im not a fan of Windows phone. Now I just love iPhones the simplicity is really worth it.
