- Introducing the Yamaha FS9: our new flagship concert body acoustic guitar. As the culmination of everything we have learned and developed over the past fifty plus years of crafting some of the world’s finest acoustic guitars, FS9 is based on the philosophy that an instrument should articulate an artist’s emotions and meet the highest standards of musical expression demanded by today's players.
The hand-selected solid Adirondack spruce top produces a rich, balanced tone for superb vocal accompaniment and a wide dynamic range, while scalloped Adirondack bracing provides exceptional tonal clarity. Options for solid Indian rosewood and solid African mahogany back/sides are available. Playability is easy and smooth with a satin finished 1-piece mahogany neck, 25" scale length, ebony fretboard, and a nitrocellulose body finish.
Handcrafted in Japan.

! ! !
Why do I always buy Martin, maybe it is the funny shaped Yamaha pick guard, the plastic truss rod entrance on the headstock or that strangely shaped saddle? I feel spoiled with a D18 and a reimagined HD28. Perhaps the FG9 sounds “better” or maybe it is cheaper; something about that name on the headstock when you reach the 4000+ regions. I just love Martin and I love your channel!!
Tell me a who are guitarist and watch the video in excitement 🎉
Get some better players to demo these, there’s everything from ham handed to slide and strummers.
If you want to hear this nice guitar looks for Alamo music. They demo this in an amazing way. One day I’ll buy this guitar, just when i retire and have the money haha
I’ve seen it, went to Namm 4 years ago, they had a guy there that was awesome. Really put the guitar through its paces. Unfortunately most of the demos I see on this are mediocre
stop balabla and play !!!!
