2023 W800 owner here, these bikes are so underrated and under represented. I’ve yet to come across any other W in my area in southern Ontario. Constantly getting comments on the bike, most think it’s a vintage Triumph or BSA. It’s a wonderful bike and beautifully built.

i’m also in southern ontario and am thinking of joining the W club. I’m looking at W650 because the W800 are no cheaper than $8,000. How are you liking yours?

@@Spartansrule118The bike has been great. I’m closing in on 11,000km on my 2023 W800 which was purchased new in May on this year. No major issues though I did experience some throttle issues at around 7000km which more than likely was caused by poor fuel. I stopped filling up at that gas station and the problem went away. I fill up with 87 octane but on occasion , will put in 89 or 91 fuel. The bike has plenty of power for Ontario roads, 95% of my riding has been on 80kph roads and the fastest I’ve gone has been around 120kph while over taking trucks. Very fun bike with a butter smooth shifter. Have not ridden on 400 series highways. The bike is smooth until you reach 3000rpm when a gentle vibration begins and is felt through the pegs, bars and seat, this vibration is caused by the 360° crank and stays constant once you hit that rev range and above. The seat is comfortable but after 1.5hrs, I need a break, usually a stop for a coffee will allow me another 1-2hrs without much butt pain. Storage is non existent but I have put on a pillion bag which allows me to carry my rain gear and a few other items…. Hope this helps. (There is a ‘23 W800 available at Two Wheel Motorsports, north of Guelph. I purchased mine in Virgil On., at Niagara Race Crafters)

🌟Great video, I love the camera angle on the "W", it gives an ideal view of bike and road 👌🏽

Mine, too. I ended up with a W 800, which I still love, but it's not the 650.

@@davidbrayshaw3529is the 650 considered better than the 800 as I’m tempted for one or the other?

I would rather have the Kawasaki than the Enfield. I think dependability , resale ,kick start and looks go to the Kaw. love em.

Have one w650 mysof. Love it... it takes abuses like no other... or just ride it slow on the twistties for a lot of fun. Excelent to "work" on... Ihave heavilly modified mine as a caferacer.

Nothing wrong with the drum brake. Mine works fine at any speed. It's not a sports bike ...

Gee, you were lucky to get your hands on a low miler 650 in such good condition. These things are rare as rocking horse poop in Australia. Most of them have been customised and or have 100k miles on them. They fetch good money when they do come up, too.

@@Darryl-bb5jt You've got one of two, I'd reckon. A mate of mine recently told me that he found a low miler in perfect condition but didn't think that I could afford it so didn't tell me about it at the time.
      I could kill him!
I've got a W800, which I love, but it just isn't the same.
