I have the original we got upon release and one of my sons still uses it but using Morandi as switches. I told him after CES we would buy this but I can't justify $500, for that I could have ordered a Freya... (we have tons of switches and caps). If it were $150 cheaper I would order today. Great review as always!
I THINK THIS IS THE KEYBOARD FOR ME. as someone who's not shame to say that i love the gamer aesthetics, even to the point where i find most custom keyboards without programmable shine through switches to be visually underwhelming, this is the sweet spot. I found some metal keycaps that are oem and shine through online so i might opt for those later on but can't wait to order one of these. I've been eyeing the custom keyboard market for a while, and have come across designs I liked, but always held back due to the south facing leds and no shine through. Just felt lacking somehow, and i a hundred percent get that it's a preference thing.
It's cool, but wow that price tag just can't be justified considering how many good custom keyboards are out there. It's not even like you get the software perk like you do with Logitech G. I would really like to see Logitech come out with a custom, or at least hot-swappable keyboard.
the desing is really good and love that they used carbon fiber plate but why do they put north facing leds and then for a simple aluminum keyboard 500 dollars like wtf
Don't spend that much on a keyboard. This keyboard has a battery that will swell withing a year. Every Asus keyboard I had, it will break due to the battery swelling. Be aware.

thanks, very good job! helped me to make final choice and go for another keyboard, cause asus azoth extreme is extremly expensive =)
I think of all the video about this keyboard this is the most complete. Good job.

also, can you make review of ATK RS7 pro?
Is it possible to replace keycap with low profile ones ?
Here in Norway the price is 630 us dollar
500 and no hall effect are you mad
its a gimmick relax
The other smoother keys are part of the box or i gotta get em ?
not part of the box
Funny how this thing costs the same as the m4 mac mini and still uses conventional switches not he
the price is painful
its EXTREMELY expensive
$500? I'll just buy five aluminum keyboards and still have change left for Jollibee.

Yup
Just leave it wired most of the time and the battery can't swell from being drained to 20% or less that's the only time lithium batteries swell
