Now I have seen the fleeting glimpse at the opening: Alexandra. I was a passenger on the last train there, but only ever got to Cromwell by bus. Was that a general community theatre group, or a specialty youth theatre group? Theatre ex cinema? High school auditorium?
I've answered my own questions. I have found the company website, which covers the 2019 Joseph performance; I've also found the site for the theatre. I toured South Island with a Cinema and Theatre Historical Society group, but we bypassed Alexandra. On an earlier visit, I got to a stage performance in Christchurch. Now I'm listening to your Joseph again while working on other tasks. That was impressive, getting such a large cast in a small centre.
@@rodericksmith8218 Yeah central otago is s beautiful place. Alexandra musical society has a good history, puts on pretty okay shows, nothing outstading, but very good considering the small size of the town. I had recently moved back there for a 12 month period (and also grew up there) hence why the timing worked out to be in the show.
