@1:50 - the file gets copied in fraction of a second because it is not a copying process, what actually happens is that macOS creates a link to the file and displays it in the place where you have copied it (you would get it if you see the linux filesystem) so its not a "copy" but actually kind of a shortcut thing, if you copy a very huge folder in windows in the same disk but another location the process will take some milliseconds but if you do copy it in another disk (vDisk) it will take the whole write time.

I was thinking to get a Mac but like you mentioned at the end of this video, compatibility issue is an annoying factor with the Macs. I am a trainer and train on robotics, and some of my students who are using a Mac are facing so many compatibility issues, specially when it comes to Hardware connection and integration. Was considering Macbook Pro or Lenovo Legion 5 but wanted to make sure I ll go with the right choice, that was the reason I came down to watch this video. Honestly speaking there were many moments when I thought Mac, Mac and Mac. But if I consider my tasks, I do play some light games, and I ve started working on content as well, plus my training job where I need to connect different types of Hardware modules, after seeing my students facing issues with their Macs, I think Legion would be a better choice for me. I suggest lenovo legion 5i pro, customize it from lenovo own site and don't buy from anywhere else. Get student discount and card offers. I suggest to go for i7-14650hx or i7-14700hx( only if difference is lesser than 2k). Ram=16gb single slot or 32 GB(16*2) and 4060 don;t go anywhere lesser than this. After all discount I think you can purchase the machine for 1.3-1.4lakh, which is pricey but trust me. It's one hella machine, will work for at least 7-8 years. Also add 3-5 years of warranty. It's dirt cheap. Finally give me cheer if you thinking to buy lenovo legion coz I don't yet have money but soon will buy for myself. Good day sir

Reason had to use the fund saved for my laptop for an emergency, but the plan is not scrapped, just delayed for a while. Funniest thing is that I went through some other laptops as well. One issue I found pretty common in Legion is the Pixels on the screen after around 2 years, I checked it online and there are so many customers facing the same issue. And the only way is to replace the screen. I did went through Rog series, and on paper as well as tests they are really really good, but recent laptops 2022 onward ve many issues and the customer support is not living upto the mark. Now I am looking at Alienware, although in comparison with Rog (Zephyrus & Scar) they are performing a bit less in some areas but considering the build quality I am still considering Alienware as well. Let us see where my journey ends, I ll update the final result...

There is a weird thing about laptops, what we see on the paper and what we see during performance is different. sometimes lower specs beats a machine with higher specs and price. Not a great Fab of Macbooks, but if you are looking something purely for editing then Mac is still one of the best out there. Plus it gives you great battery life, great sound even without headphones/external speakers, no fan noise, great display and Apple build quality. Cons are like if you are a new Apple user, then it ll take sometime to get used to it, certain UI options annoys you a lot, and compatibility is going to be an issue with some particular softwares and Apple environment/ecosystem literally sucks sometimes. But all in all it is a great machine.

You need a light weight Gaming laptop because for AI and ML gpu is needed and gaming laptop will handle it better, if you want to use only for coding purpose, then go for macbook. Dont go for Dell G15 or alienware, those laptops are very heavy and also dont go for HP victus, because HP's ram frequency is less.... go for LOQ, ASUS or Acer. You can use gaming laptop for AI ML , 3D rendering better than macboom. And gaming laptops are also pocket friendly than macbook. I am an IT professional, I bought dell G15, but its very heavy. Think , research and buy.
@@suryanath8755 In my experience in video editing and editing I have found my Macbook Pro M3 Pro better in GPU and CPU power than most windows laptops in its price range. And the battery life of mac is also much better. For AI and ML tasks also it performs better. Thermal performance in mac is also better. I use my Macbook for occasional gaming and running simulators on highest graphics, I also do videos editing with some AI workloads which it handles very easily, and I do video editing in Da Vinci resolve using only original 4k 10-bit color profile videos, handles it without a sweat. And now the new M4 MacBooks are also said to be much better in AI and ML tasks.

It depends on the TDP of the GPU that is there in each of the laptop. If TDP of the gpu In victus is more than that in LOQ then the LOQ will last longer and vice versa. And also if one has 3050 and the other one has 3060 then the battery in the 3050 one will last longer.

It depends on the TDP of the GPU that is there in each of the laptop. If TDP of the gpu In victus is more than that in LOQ then the LOQ will last longer and vice versa. And also if one has 3050 and the other one has 3060 then the battery in the 3050 one will last longer.
