Hi. I appreciate your comment which is quite valid, however I use a rather old Panasonic Lumix TZ8 with a built in microphone so there is no easy solution.
There used to be a product for just this problem called the 'Windcutter', but it doesn't seem to be made any more. You could try sticking a small piece of fur-fabric over the mike (essentially that's all the windcutter gizmo was) though a piece of fabric plaster or light surgical tape might do the trick just as well :)
Great video
Isn't this the town what first gave the world Marshall Amplifiers?

I know the lettering for the Bristol routes is 1A11-15 so can someone tell me why this is not used for the Penzance routes
Why do they get 1A81
+Dan Smith Hi. You can look up headcodes on Traksy or Railcam.uk. That might give you some clue.
Please invest in a microphone muffler - all your otherwise excellent videos always sound like there's a force nine gale blowing ;)

Yes brilliant footage and captions bloody wind noise irritating
breeze 147. Still have not found a solution to the problem. Moving trains create their own gale and the railway corridor tends to capture any wind.
