Thanks bro! The plan was to go to Sand Hollow Lake up there, but had to switch lakes when they were hosting an Iron Man Tournament. There’s many lakes very close together, being diverted wasn’t a bummer. Took the 15 freeway all the way up 🤙. Appreciate you, and will fish with you soon!!! Let’s go Big Game 👊💯
I’m a local. Quail can be a challenging lake. But the fish are usually quality! Sand Hollow is easier to fish for sure. Fish are good, but quail creek bass can be massive.
Thanks Austin! Most definitely, I agree with you in that Quail Creek is challenging! I read somewhere recently that it has a super healthy Largemouth Bass population. Sand Hollow was tough for me from my one experience there in that my son landed one, but I lost the one I had on 😂. You’re super lucky to be surrounded by many awesome lakes 🤙. Good luck on your fishing adventures 👊
They stock trout in Quail Lake which wipes out the Bass, Bluegill, and Crappie fry...They want smallmouth removed so catch and keep them. Wish they'd stop putting the trout in there.
Nice. Thanks for the good information. I noticed the smallmouth signs posted, and later researched it a bit more online. I’d bet there’s a healthy population of smallmouth bass in there. I usually fish in California (Silverwood), but once the Trout are stocked the Striped Bass usually eat a good portion of them. Hope you get out soon and slay!!! 🤙👊🎣
That awesome you went to Utah I have another youtuber friend from Utah. Nice smallie catch miss catching smallies lol
