That's a pretty good one I really like that design.10 or so years back I too made a waste oil heater using a oil Burning furnace but I found out the burning chamber and tip to the oil feed would get clogged up once and a while with a white crust I later found out this was from the preservative chemicals they use in the oil when processing. This is what I would imagine being the same stuff you've see at the bottom of the barrel underneath the air flow .

This is the best blower style waste oil burner design I have ever seen. Good job! The complete combustion. With plenty of air is definitely environmentally friendly!

I think these heater are the best, we tested them for 24 hours, and in that time we had no smoke at all, not even when turned off. Over feeding the fire with oil didn't change it, unlike a gravity fed heaters that turn into a nuclear reactor. No soot, and no ash build up in the bottom of the cylinder except the cardboard that it was lit with, now that the ash isn't there it can be burnt 24/7 for days or months. We notice diesel can smoke in normal waste oil heaters doesn't in these, just changes the colour of the flame more orange. Burns approx. 2.7 litres an hour so best connected to a 44 gallon drum but we could have turned it down, and used less.

Congratulations on an excellent build. I've read every comment searching for the info I want and all I need is the hole size at the base (underside) of your air tube. I enjoyed the comments and replies and salute your gentle nature. Cheers from Australia.

Крышку надо бы герметичней сделать чтоб не фонила и обдувочный вентилятор корпуса. А вот дожигатель надо такой попробовать, заинтересовал. 👌👍
