    Best scene in the series! "I don't think so!"... Costner is the modern Era golden standard, playing western

    It's so sad because these men were friends at one time. Deep down, I wish any conflict could be resolved without bloodshed. It seems as if humanity can't exist without conflict of some kind.

      Nothing can, conflict is in nature, from the smallest protons wrestling within atomic structures to viruses destroying bacteria, to every animal fighting over territory, food, and mates, all the way to fusion within stars and blackholes ripping away time itself. Conflict IS nature.

    I love tom berenger in this he did a awesome job playing jim Vance

      They did a good job on his makeup too. He sure looked like a Sgt. Barnes relative since they both hated a certain kind of army. Vance hated Union soldiers and Barnes hated the Cong.

    3:03 is some of the best acting Costner has ever done in his career.

    you can tell they used only one take on this with Kevin Costner and Bill Paxton. Both actors have great talent. RiP Bill Paxton.

      Thankfully it's not super difficult to find in physical form if you're willing to go that route. I've seen it at Walmart for five dollars in the recent past. Definitely a keeper.

      Right now, it's on Tubi, which is a streaming app that's completely free. You just got to deal with watching ads.

    Anse brought retaliation on his family from this. Ellis probably would've survived the stabbing. Only one of the three actually killed him. They shouldn't have carried out vigilante justice on all three.

      @@lorimorris6520 That's what I was saying. Only one of them actually killed him. Had Anse killed only the one who shot his brother, the feud probably wouldn't have gone on.

    Your right all this over a pig after everything that happened? is what killed the friendship of these 2 families I bet they did everything together

    • @Demaad
      @Demaad 5 месяцев назад +1

      The pig was one part of it. The real start was when a Union McCoy was killed by a Confederates, supposedly led by Hatfields
