At 90% and didn’t deliver the performance? These commentators are full of it. Both teams gave 110% and it could have gone either way. Hats off to both teams for giving the rugby fans an epic showdown. The 90% comment is garbage. Ireland played great and it took an absolutely immense Allblack performance to put them down. How about some credit where it’s due?! The Allblacks were underdogs, under massive pressure and frankly not fancied to succeed by the entirety of the Northern Hemisphere rugby community. Well they came and played with pride focus clarity and MANA that was admirable and beautiful to witness. What a contest! Proud of the AB’s who really stood up tonight 🖤✊🏾👊🏾

@@conor1077 Ireland's performance in first 20-30 mins. was not great and was not 90% - Silly penalties and stupid from Murray and Doris not paying attention - leaving players isolated. Not kicking for points, sextons missed penalty, kicking out of hand too much, line and scrum not functioning. All blacks down 1 for 20 mins. We deserved to lose - ABs better team on the day. Well done to he men on black. Ireland were 60-70% of what have been. They were tired from last 2 important games. They looked fatigued like ABs in semis 2019 and got knocked out by England. ABs will feel this next week. Ireland had most difficult path. BUT all said and done a BIG Congratulations to ABs 🇳🇿 much better on the day.

To say Ireland we're not at 90% is ridiculous....It's because of pressure put on them by the other side. A lot of people dismissed the AB's but this team is building. They too, were not at their best. The recent losses are no more than yesterdays fish and chip paper .Two more very hard games ahead for them. They haven't won it yet but are starting track nicely...providing they can control their discipline and keep players on the field. Commiserations to ireland. Congrats to both teams. What a match. This was worthy of a world cup final and I feel so bad for Ireland, they deserved to go much further.
Disagree with the 90% comment. Ireland didn't get the outcome but they played a great game. As a kiwi in my 50's I've seen so many RWCs where the ABs are favourites and against teams of top quality small margins make the difference, Ireland lost a game but they did the jersey proud.
These commentators must've forgot that NZ had 2 yellow cards! They got blitzed by the ABs! Poor sportsmanship by these commentators, they do a disservice to their team. Just acknowledge, the ABs were far better on the day. if you cant deliver with a 14 man disadvantageous 20 min, you're not good enough.

Well coached AB's team, I think they analysed the Scotland game, exposed a area of weakness by kicking behind the defensive line and putting alot of pressure on the breakdown as Ireland weren't keen on committing too many men. Also the line-out was attacked too. Great game.
It goes back further than the Scotland game, the series loss in nz is what gave them the blueprint
Wales were also out thought in the other quarter final. The top coaches spot the weakness and if you got no plan B then you go out , simple.

Full credit New Zealand. Showed they are still the best rugby team in the world. Ireland had the chance to win at the end. This was a brilliant, titanic test match between two evenly matched teams. New Zealand fully deserved though. The quarter final curse may live on for another 4 years at least, but I'm so proud of everything this team has achieved. No doubt this is the one that got away though, the best chance because I'm certain they would have beaten an average Argentina side and gotten to the final. It was always gonna be 50/50, the top 4 teams on the same side facing off in quarter finals, what a farce. Well done New Zealand, enjoy the win and see you again soon. Its not a fair call to say that Ireland didnt play their best. Thats not why they lost game. They were not allowed to play their best. Ample opportunites when the ABs were down to 14 for 20min of this game but the game plan by the ABs never allowed them to take advantage of that. At the end of the day they were out coached by a tactical game plan. BTW I love the Irish and, yep elated for the ABs but also gutted for the Irish.✊

One of the things to point out what the All Blacks done was time management towards the end in the second half when we had a player out that was also key.We played hard but we played smart..

Edge of our seats here in NZ..37 phases on attack the Irish. Well 👍 done. That Irish team turned up,
The actual fact of the matter is, Ireland played to the best that they could today, the start of the game where the All Blacks attacked for 30 phases & came away with points & a lead that they wouldn't relinquish & Ireland at the end with 37 phases but couldn't score is a testament to the coaching of the All Blacks, they weren't overly stretched at anytime during those last 37 attacking phases from Ireland, they simply knew what was coming next, they read the block runners, the round the corners & more importantly, they read Johnny.
That was Ireland at their best, but it was the All Blacks playing at the top of their game too, the work they have clearly put in to allow them to come up with and execute a defensive system specifically geared to shutting down the Irish attacking system is astonishing in both its design & implementation on the paddock by this outstanding All Blacks team & coaching squad.
There was another spell during the 2nd half where Ireland were building phases but were getting read by the All Blacks where Johnny tried a wee chip into space, the chasers were a step behind which allowed Beauden Barrett time to mop up, evade 2 tacklers & kick safely into touch near halfway, allowing again the All Blacks to reset, that was a telling moment, it was something we just haven't seen from Johnny.
So really, to claim that Ireland weren't at their best is disappointing.
Well done to the AB'S, and good luck going forward lads. Tough game. Heartbroken for Johnny and the lads. They've done us proud. Its the hope that kills you.

Barnes also let go irish players not releasing the ball when on the ground... Looked the other way I sppose...
He had a good game other than that. He penalized the Irish scrum rightly for Boring in and an accidental high tackle he rightly called no penalty as the Irish player had completely slipped. Other less experienced refs may have gone to a card
He totally looked the other way when ardie was taking out with Irish not releasing. Several phases finally called the correct call for whitelock. Fuck Barnes.

The tunnel at the start said everything. NZ went in with zero expectation to win, Sexton looked very nervous while Cane looked like he was ready for war. Both teams played their hearts out and Ireland should be proud but unfortunately the occasion definately got the better of them

That’s an absolute cop out by Rob. Ireland played the full 100. To say they didn’t is an absolute joke. They just happened to have an ABs squad who did their homework and matched them. Well done to the Irish. I commend them for their efforts and 100% did that green jersey proud.
Definitely, a lack of humility here from Kearney. The All Blacks were really on today and were the better team, even with 14 men for 60 minutes. I've never seen the ABs as disciplined in their defence in 40 years watching them. Bad luck to Ireland, they were deservedly favourites and play an awesome brand of rugby. There'll be other days for the Irish I'm sure.

Agreed, but it was composure, not our defensive structure that won it. Our defensive line is still too static and out of date compared to Ireland, france and South Africa. Thankfully we have the ability to strike like no other.
