- Junk Journal January - Day 29 Prompt “Crumpled” #artjournaling #creativechallenge #junkjournaljanuary25
I am thrilled to be part of the collaborator line up for this year's Junk Journal January challenge, hosted by the lovely @MegJournals - my prompt was Day 28.
Day 29: Reveal - A delicate vintage-inspired junk journal spread featuring a handpainted watercolor floral piece with vibrant red and pink blooms against soft green foliage. The composition is layered over vintage ephemera, with thoughtful personal journaling about me and my cherished woodland memories peeking through the layers.

Very pretty I love water color doodles ❤❤❤
I agree, the simple life is the best! Nice JJ page
Absolutely Beautiful !
Just love this. Admire your simplicity.
Great page. Thanks for sharing. So fun to learn more about you. Take care ❤
Lush!
I'm sorry the menopause has been so ghastly for you. I empathise fully. Thank you for sharing your struggles.
I love this little colourful collage and your watercolour doodle is so pretty ❤
I saw you work as a Procurement Officer, I used to be a Buyer for over 10 years and moved into Cyber Security and Data Protection to get away from the stress of being a Buyer, it's the best thing I ever did and I managed to stay within the same charity in doing so. So I understand the stress! The menopause, I went through it in my late 30's. it does get better Steph and you will feel a bit like a caterpillar turning into a butterfly during this dreaded period in women's lives, you'll be free from it soon! Thanks for sharing a bit about you, it's always nice to put a back story to a voice we listen to on YT ❤❤❤
Such a beautiful beast as you call your journal, love this page with the bright watercolour doodle. Sorry to hear about menopause symptoms, it doesnt last forever, I know sometimes you feel it will last forever.
Beautiful!
Thank you for sharing a little bit about you. I think I would like to go for a walk with you in your father's woodland, alas, I'm Canadian. I'm also discovering the simply joy of collage, just putting bits of paper together from my desk. Cheers, Grace

Your page and your journal are absolutely beautiful! I love your style. You’ve really inspired me during this challenge. I was really stumped on this prompt until I watched your video again and I love your idea. Thank you for sharing some of yourself ❤
Thanks Keri, that's so nice of you to say
Thank you for mentioning the menopause as it doesn’t happen very often. I too have had a rough time with it and more awareness is needed. Thank you.
Oh yes. Me too. The last couple of years have been dreadful x
Steph, lovely page, it is hard to share personal information when it's something we feel uncomfortable with. I live in West Wales too and I also have lived in Margate when I was a teenager
Wow really? Such a coincidence
@hilltopviewjournals I know it's a small world. I came here to live a year ago from Kent
Love your videos ❤ thanks for sharing a bit about your challenges. I am traveling the same road here in the states. It meant a lot ❤
Love your style of journey. Will definitely incorporate some of your ideas/layering in my journals. Thanks so much for sharing. Stay well. ❤
Do you have a video on how you made the tape - using surgical tape?
