Ngl I always dreamed with a guild called "Mercenaries" were every race is welcome, we work for horde, alliance and neutral factions but we are not under their banner, we even fight them if necessary and we are loyal to ourselves, sounds amazing and it saddens me that there isn't something like this in the actual lore, but it seems that there is a possibility to make a guild like that in the future
I would like that. When I used to play, I always imagined that all of my characters, both the Alliance & Horde ones, where all members of the same mercenary group under the leadership of my Goblin Priest. A priest in the Church of Making Money and was therefore above petty faction squabbles.
I think the Alliance players are more casual, laid-back, gentle and humorous, taking life and gameplay easily, while the Horde players are jaded, hardened, vicious, and think that gameplay is a matter of life and death. So my answer: NO, NEVER, WE WILL NEVER JOIN YOUR HORDE. *FOR THE ALLIANCE!*

i have just 2 reasons why i don''t play horde: because the whole faction has a whole rework everytime the warchief changes... and the warchief position is pretty much a revolving door and mostly, because the whole "Victory or death" that was killed by Vol'Jin and "don't let the horde die here", call me extreme, but if your most iconic warcry and way of thinking is so easily dismissed... i'm not even wasting my time thinking at anything else. the only reason to play horde imho is just to kill gnomes. While I understand there has been a lot of bloodshed between the two factions, it is unfortunate that there have been some really shitty leaders who made those bad choices and the rest of the faction just have to follow. I never liked Garrosh or Sylvannas because of their extremes. I much prefer Vol'jin and Baine, because they are just there wanting to survive and no go to war. Especially with everything Baine has gone through with the Alliance, there is no way he would want to continue the divide. The horde should be a fractured mess right now. Those who follow the old ways of the Horde and those who want to follow the new. No way all horde members could be happy with what Garrosh and Sylvannas were doing. Surely more relationships/friendships would happened between the alliance and horde for the amount of times the factions did partner up to stop a threat. They wouldn't be able to go against it after the fact. Not to mention, the Druid races on both sides are part of the same druid circle which is why they can go to Moonglade. So it doesn't make sense again for there to be division. DragonFlight is further proof that Alliance and Horde are working together and this time, without a threat to bring them together. For me personally, it makes sense that after what happened with Sylvanna's the horde is doing everything they can to make up for the wrongs with the alliance and never allow such horrors to happen again. I am glad it's turned from one Warchief to a council now. My main (as a RP) would never be able to stand with the horde during Garrosh and Sylvanna's reign. She also has a partner in the alliance and a child with said partner. So, continuing the division between the two factions will not be ideal in the end. It's WARcraft not LOVEcraft, I get it, but also, WoW is not it's leaders anymore its the players, and I feel a lot of players are starting to question why would the division between the two factions still exist when the things I mentioned above is a thing AND neutral factions like Argent Dawn etc are a thing.
Honestly the whole "It's WARcraft not PEACEcraft" argument has from the very beginning been ignoring all the other wars going on in favour of the same old one that makes less sense for each apocalyptic threat the Horde and Alliance have faced together. Even if you completely erase all friction between the factions from Burning Crusade and onward, that's still a ton of war.

I am making this post to show both factions are fucked up and would be guilty of so many war crimes/violations of human rights. There is no good side when it comes to the Horde vs Alliance. I REPEAT: I am not claiming that the Horde is better than the Alliance. I am claiming that both sides are equal parts evil and there is no good faction between the Alliance and Horde in WoW. The Alliance has: 1. Placed Orcs into concentration camp, some camps going as far as forcing orcs into gladiator fights to the death for the Alliance captors to make money off of. 2. When the Horde finally left the Eastern Kingdoms, the Alliance chased after the Horde with the plan to murder them or bring them back into captivity. 3. Attacking and imprisong neutral trolls (The Darkspear Tribe), eventually leading the Darkspear into joining the Horde. 4. Once there was peace between the Horde and the Alliance, Kul Tiras showed up, broke the peace agreement, and starting attacking the Horde unprovoked. 5. Locking up the High Elves/Blood Elves (who were part of the Alliance at the time) for accepting non-Alliance help after being given a mission literally set up in a way that the Alliance knew they would fail and be wiped out if they didn't get help, thus leading to the Blood Elves eventually joining the Horde. 6. Using the Wrathgate to invade Undercity and attempt to murder Sylvanas and Thrall when the world was dealing with the Scourge and the Lich King. 7. Dwarves, sponsored by the Alliance, wiped out an entire Tauren tribe and the commander of the atrocity was promoted for it (Gann's Reclamation quest) 8. Opened fire on a ship of Goblin civilians (who were neutral at the time) to cover up the kidnapping of Thrall. 9. Captured more Horde prisoners and placed them into concentration camps (Honor's Stand in Southern Barrens). 10. Murdering the civilians at Camp Taurajo. 11. Northwatch blockading the neutral port of Ratchet, destroying any non-Alliance ships trying to dock there (rather the ships are Horde or not). 12. Killed surrendered combatants and opened fire on shipwrecked unarmed soldiers just trying to swim and make it to shore (Alliance Jade Forest intro quest for MoP) 13. Enslaved Pandaren, including Children, to build a military fort in the Jade Forest (Horde MoP questline) 14. Slaughtering or imprisoning horde civilians in Dalaran (the Purge lead by Jaina Proudmore) 15. Attempted assassination of the Horde Warchief during a period where the Alilance and the Horde made a truce because of the Legion invading. 16. SI:7 sending Alliance Players to slaughter unarmed goblin miners in Silithus. 17. Attacking Vulpera civilians, burning down their homes/wagons, simply because the Vulpera were repaying a kindness that Horde had done to them. 18. Burning captured Horde troops alive as revenge for Teldrasil. 19. The CONSTANT breaking of truces. WOTLK: Varian breaks the truce so he can invade Undercity. CATA: Varian breaks the truce because an unaffliated group of orcs attacked the Alliance, causing Varian to demand Thrall prostrate himself before him and beg for forgiveness. Remember, according to Lore, the Alliance invasion of the Barrens moments before the Cataclysm is what actually leads to the war during Cata. MOP: NEARLY breaking the truce after the Siege of Orgrimmar because Jaina wanted Varian to murder all of the Horde leaders. WOD: Alliance saboteurs invading the Horde Garrison during Garrison Invasions to set fires to buildings and disrupt the Horde's attempt to stop the Iron Horde and, later, Gul'dan. LEGION: Genn going against orders to try to assassinate the Horde's warchief. 20. The constant slaughtering of peons and other unarmed miners and workers. 21. The fact that Jaina and Genn's constant calls for Horde Genocide, even during times of peace or of a truce, has gone unpunished and unchallenged, which will no doubt lead to another war between the Horde and the Alliance in the future. "Oh, but Sylvanas is gone now. Genn wont call for Horde genocide." Yeah...well...Garrosh died in WoD and Jaina still wanted to wipe out the Horde in expansions that followed. 22. The constant claiming of moral high ground when they are just as bad as the Horde, insisting that they're the good guys and constantly attempting to tell the Horde how they should rule their people to outright demanding the murder of Horde Leadership cause 'Alliance always good and right, Horde always evil and wrong'. 23. And on the non-Horde side, the High Elves stole Amani lands, claimed it as their own, and then enlisted the aid of the Humans when the Amani didn't want their lands to be stolen, leading to the Troll Wars and eventually becoming the reason why most trolls in the Eastern Kingdoms are hostile to all outsiders. Humans and High Elves literally did the trolls of the Eastern Kingdoms what Europeans did to the natives of Nortth and South America by claiming ancestral land and then getting pissed off when the people living on that land refused to give up there land (High Elves originally being from Kalimdor and Humans originally being Vrykul Outcasts from Northrend). It's actually why I'm mad that the Horde allowed the Blood Elves to join. We should have gotten Forest Trolls instead.

Humans and High Elves literally did the trolls of the Eastern Kingdoms what Europeans did to the natives of Nortth and South America by claiming ancestral land and then getting pissed off when the people living on that land refused to give up there land (High Elves originally being from Kalimdor and Humans originally being Vrykul Outcasts from Northrend). It's actually why I'm mad that the Horde allowed the Blood Elves to join. We should have gotten Forest Trolls instead.

I really hope that first person you interviewed never gains political power in real life.
