I love 'old' Kill Hannah. The difference between "The Curse of Kill Hannah" and "Until There's Nothing Left of Us" is astounding, but I like both styles. This song, however, is my favorite and will always be my favorite by them. I remember seeing them perform it live 2 years ago when they came through my city. Breath taking, definitely something I will never forget. Good music doesn't come out often.
This song is so great. I love how it's so subtle but it's also energetic. It makes me feel like I'm in a dream.
my favorite song
this might be my favorite KH song. either this, lovesick, or no one dreams anyway
this is one of my favorite songs ever.... it melts my soul. kill hannah is sadly not what they used to be, but a few songs on their newer album have begun to reclaim that old "kill hannah-esque" sound i know and love so much.
sends shivers down my spine. i love this song. i cannot name one band who has a remotely simailar style to kh's old stuff
@size00babydoll omg yeah ikr. i made a comment about them sounding a little bit like the cure the other day and people flipped out but i think they do too
man i feel so old. i was 5 in 96.
Found this band by accident when I was a Smashing Pumpkins fanboy in the late 90s and read some internet article about other bands that played at The Metro. I still dig this song out once a year. It’s a banger.
"and we're running out of air... prepared to throw ourselves off somewhere"
First Song I ever heard from them.
omgs i owned this EP... thanks for the reminder of the good times and making me feel like im not the only old one LOL
this is up there in my top favorite kill hannah songs, without a doubt. i just love the feeling it gives me everytime,. like hummingbirds the size of bullets caught inside of my stomach. :)
so incredable nice!!!!! best i have heard for a long time!!! SUPER !!!!
and my skin she said it shakes.
i didnt even know they had a video for this!
this lightening causes madness and dazzle these nights dead are my favourite kill hannah songs.theyre all oldies that they dont play live any more which is such a shame. having seen them play live 5 times seen a difference in set by about one song!
anyway.my point.i love this video because it is colourless and bleak like kill hannah's music i adore it so much its unbelievable. they almost always wear black and white and this video is just perfect.=)
love this song.
love the vid. love the song. so glad they played it live when i saw them :)
I just
they signed to a major label, that's what
I was 6 in 1996

i was only 2 in 96
i feel young
its not just you, alot of fans feel they are a bit like the cure, which is one of there biggest music influences. i personally love both bands.
The whole album "The Curse of Kill Hannah" makes me feel that I'm in a dream.. no other band has ever made me feel like that O.o I love Kill Hannah :3
Curse of Kill Hannah is such a top tier album. My favorite of theirs.
Is it just me, or is there a LONNNNGGGG chunk of dead air before the song starts??
I was 8 in '96....wow I feel old. o_o'
Btw Kill Hannah pwns...and I
Lol, same here. I was 6 in 96 too.
How flippin old school.
i wasnt really paying atention...
but good band...
i love them!
your great
they were bound to have one pretty song.
I agree, their first couple of releases were very special, almost like the next pumpkins...
and I'm all for bands progressing + evolving, but I honestly don't like how they've pivoted.
I'm a Brit so my comparing might be a bit weird compared to what an American would see them as, but to me this sounds a lot like a British shoegaze band called Slowdive, well minus having a woman singing too, but the chord progressions seem very Slowdive.
I'm giving you a thumbs up for that because I'm pretty dumb too. =D
@CuteIsContagious ooh
Chicago!
@EmilyLOVESstanley It is quite the same. The only diffrence now, is that everything is produced better, with higher quality. Instead of being bed room recordings.
I'm giving you a thumbs up for your thumbs up! lmao
@r17ey what was the first kill hannah song? I thought it was this one.
I was 3 xD
haha,
no problem, I wish I saw the comments before i jumped.
@size00babydoll i know right!! = D mouth waters
i was 6 too.
lol
ahh!!
i couldnt here anything in the beginging!!!
and then music came on, and i jumped!
aha,
dont i feel smart...
this is older than me l ol
It's amazing how they can still sound pretty much the same, meaning with the same music style and all that after so many years. Not many bands can do that, and for that I really really respect (and love) Kill Hannah.
Hes got a new solo album release this year
jesus, was Wrongchilde seriously 5 years ago??? I'm getting old, man
does anyone know where I can get all their really good old shit like this? can't find it anywhere, also heard a version of Kennedy I can't find anywhere except youtube, this stuff is too good.
Most of their really old material got put on their compilation album "Curse of Kill Hannah," which you can still find. Their first albums were independently released, so you'd have to check eBay. I remember paying $40 for American Jet Set on eBay in 2003 or so, and a few months later the band found a box of CDs and started selling them for $15 on their Web site. That's my luck, but maybe you'll have better!
When did Jonathan leave the band?!
someone send me this song, please!
the singer went to filmschool...wonder if this was a project?
i dont think the style they have now is anything like it was..its completely different actually....listen to the curse of kill hannah which is a mix of a bunch of their older songs and then listen to until theres nothing left of us. HUGE difference.

this is totally 80s :D
one of their best songs
Their two first records were very special in my opinion now they are just shitty mainstrream come with something unique instead!
the greatest band to ever be shown by a psycho ex girlfriend lol
hannah montana FOREVER
beginning of the song sounds like they ripped off the band slowdive and the song catch the breeze.
