Georgia River Fishing (Caught a MONSTER BASS)

Today we are fishing the Ocmulgee River in Georgia for the elusive shoal bass and anything else that bites! It was a great day of fishing with both of us catching our personal best bass. One of them was even big enough to enter Georgia's Angler Award program for being over 4lbs! (If it was weighed with a certified scale).

First fish is definitely a largemouth

We thought so at first too! We double checked some pictures and noticed the upper jaw doesn’t extend past the eye, it has the vertical stripes, and has spot on the tail like shoal bass have.
