This sermon has changed the way I view my work. I'm in the home remodeling business and seen projects with high craftsmanship, and other projects with no effort. I've been in beautiful expensive homes with great architectural design and smaller homes with basic dimensions but great use of space, color schemes, furniture design, and just making beautiful homes out of individual creativity. I've always took pride in my work to master my craft, but never really thought how it plays a part in a wider scale of things. I knew craftsmanship is all in the details but this took it to a whole new level. Now it's not just how can I make things look beautiful but also its purpose, and how can I make things connect.
