As an art/design student a few ideas to have made things work better maybe use small magnets to connect the pieces with the glove, should've done a fade effect with the ink from the mix to green or at least include more green on the glove and should've used a darker glove as the original hand colour when not used is more of a dark green to grey colour.

you could have printed the arm pieces with some small holes on the back and sewn them to the gloves like buttons. it might last longer than the double sided tape
