I have a take on a take in this video. Instead of it being that Josh gets the MVP for overcoming the loss of a number 1 receiver. Instead Kincaid will have a bigger season than all are expecting(somewhere around Joe’s projected season) and it will detract from Josh’s season since the narrative will change from, “he did it with no weapons” to “Dalton Kincaid emerged and allowed that offense to work without a number 1 receiver a la Travis Kelce”. Call me a cynical bills fan but the national media and the voters always find a way to undercut an Allen MVP
I mean fuck all allen did was pull a dead team with a 500 record to 2 home playoff games while lamar had half his stats and the number 1 defense ans still almost lost the division I'm betting your correct
The things I'm looking for on Sunday in order of importance are... 1. Von Miller's explosiveness 2. Dorian Williams in coverage 3. Kincaid's usage 4. Groot's pass rush 5. McGovern's snaps Nothing about WR distribution because I don't think we'll learn anything for a few weeks there.
@dustinstella6656 I honestly think it's being over blown who cares who the pass is going too and how much clearly we don't have a number one guy you can say Kincaid but that just speculation at this point (probably correct) the only thing I care about is if it's being caught and for positive yards
The Bills have not been to a Super Bowl since the last time they fielded a RB named Davis. Back then It was Kenneth Davis (who was instrumental in THE COMEBACK). Now it's RAY.
About to board a flight from Sydney Australia with my Son to get to the opening game - cannot wait - has been 5 years We’ll try and get to the season launch event and see you do the pod live Go Bills
Ya I don’t normally agree with the other commenter opinion wise but on McDermotts defense you could be the number one over all pick and not see the field if you don’t check the boxes
For sure I just don’t think he will start unless McDermott sees him as the best player or injury strikes. McDermott always plays who he thinks is best regardless of contract, draft position, or fan base popularity
@@AvocadoHank I think he's gonna be forgotten about and he gets open in the end zone. Won't have alot of targets or catches but I can see him having 8 plus TDs easily.
@@junyajax like seriously. He's gonna be doing alot more blocking and he's gonna be on the field in the redzone and teams are gonna forget about him and Josh has always liked to throw to him both in the endzone and on scrambles. I just really see it

I have to admit I was surprised Joe when you felt the roster wasn’t as good as last year. I do understand it could not be, however so much upside with the unknowns. I believe in addition by subtraction. Most players lost limping by week 15. Fresh legs- Sustained juice!!
Joe: Nothing ever goes the way you think its going to go (in reference to schedule/wins) Buffalo at the Jets with Zach Wilson........so frustrating. Also, Josh should have won MVP last year. My opinion. If he puts up numbers similar to last year AND wins the divison or deep playoff run, he should win it. Lastly, IF Bills win the division.....will McDermott FINALLY win Coach of the Year? He's waaaay past due, imo.
The closer we get to game 1, the more nervous I get. Maybe it’s my PTSD of watching them flop in big moments since my childhood in the 90’s, or my complete crushed belief that our game against the Chiefs was ours, either way I’m nervous for Sunday and excited all at the same time. Hoping it’s not a repeat of our season opener last year! No matter the outcome- Go Bills!❤🏈💙
Von is a waste of money, I can’t image what the team could have done with that money. Josh will be Josh, the defensive side will struggle all season. It’s going to be a long season and don’t be surprised if Josh gets injured.
Speaking of the 2013 season....the Bills travelled to play the 3-10 Oakland Raiders. We all know what happened. They finished 9-7 and would have broke the drought 4 years earlier.
Mcd in my opinion steps back many players, including Elam because of his near perfect play thinking…. It has happened again. With Daequan Hardy …. The one play that I think McDermott is holding against him… was when he ran back towards the end zone on that punt….. I can see from Hardee’s perspective, to take advantage and show his skills on each and every preseason punt… and he demonstrated his physical skills in that particular play and others …did McDermott, make him aware to play the game as if it’s a regular season game, and make the best decision on each and every punt…???….Hardy like Elam is a very aggressive player…. And can be game changers …. But MCD hinders their growth by taking away their instinctive skills …..and he demands a perfect player…. Let the players be themselves…. And not second guess what they do … I understand a certain scheme, but there are exceptions. Splash plays on D has been really non existent, due to MCD not allowing players to be themselves…and use their instincts….MCD always wants to be regimented …. Instincts is what makes players great …. And results. In splash plays
Rousseau looks to me like he grew into a man in the off-season. He grew into his body and filled out. When he speaks to the media he seems much more mature. A full-grown Groot will be a force this year.
Sorry Joe but they can't inject von Miller into the game like a field goal kicker..if you think that's what they have to do then why is he even on the team???????????
As far as the defense goes and how good they will be …. The issue in the past has been those 3rd down and long conversions they gave up .. and there was a ton of them … the first game vs Arizona… May start off as that, as seasons usually start as they ended the prior year …but after the first few give ups … if it does not improve … then it’s the same old D….And no Super Bowl …
Sorry man, it's the woke media that's pushing the narrative Allen's overrated. Allen doesn't at all fit their favored marketing direction & seen to much from ESPN jumping at any chance they get to knock him. Allen very much gets the same treatment as Caitlyn Clark from them.
Put another way, if Allen and Clark were both black the narrative would be so totally different. Allen 100% would have won an MVP. We just happen to be live in an increasingly racially divided nation. Thank you, mass media.

So glad you did this Joe! I’m one of those “delusional” thinking Von could be Come Back Player of the Year! Hope is the greatest of all things 😆
There is no need for a #1 receiver under new offensive scheme. Allen has several big targets to throw to.
The text line with Joe is worth every penny! Honestly! Makes me so more rational as a past rabid fan! 😆 my wife promotes it as well! 🤣
Listening to Joe’s informed and reasoned takes has generally better blood pressure scores heading into and during game days.

Ray Davis is a superior receiver to Cook simply for fewer drops and better route running
If Rapp and Bishop are healthy, I think we will be fine at safety.

I think the Bills will have two 1000 Yard rushers
I dont think the nfl is ready for what Allen is going to do this year
Don't see James Cook as that agile, more of a 1 cut only back who runs way to upright with no intent on yards after contact.

Nowhere to Hyde … would have been a really good fantasy football team name.
Von Miller is done. He has been the second he got the ACL. I'll bet anyone he'll never get another sack.
Joe's stats for ja17 he gave yesterday are no where near mvp numbers. So if joe is right then josh will not be mvp. Both things can't be true.
