Actually the song in the mod rn is from PinpinNeon, who released the DM Dokuro creation "Still Here", and the original purpose of the placeholder exo mech theme Pinpin created was as a theme for the mech bosses as part of the Infernum mod, a companion mod for Calamity that makes the bosses harder and more unique.
I think it juxtaposes the idea we had of Draedon perfectly. What we knew was that Draedon was technical, perceptive and concise. This theme is the direct opposite of this approach: frenzied and insane, but still keeping themes of technicality and also a subtle undertone of said smarts. It feels right at home considering it’s Draedon’s super ultra murder weapons annihilating what he sees as an ‘anomaly’. Average rants i go on to vent ideas that come out of my head, pay no attention. But of course, I bet CDMusic will create something that is just as good if not better.
I actually wish the update had a little more time to cook, maybe even being a collaboration between Calamity and Catalyst, since in all honesty the fight felt a little underwhelming compared to what I and the community had imagined. Imagine if there was a special set of build-up to the bossfight, where instead of the dinky blueprints you would be teleported to a new area like a testing facility where you would have to fight one of the proto-mechs throughout progression, eventually seeing them get stronger and stronger before finally facing off against the grand finale
My personal and more simplistic view is that the song really conveys a vibe of “holy shit what the fuck have I been put up against”mand general panic and rush.
Yeah, the alarms going off when he's FIIRING HIS LAZOR is just so awesome. Although it is not enough for a theme in Calamity since it's only fitting for the overall theme and Thanatos, but not for Ares, Apollo and Artemis.
This is what Draedon's theme should be. If they give up on making a theme for Draedon and choose this to be the theme, I will welcome their decision with nothing but euphoria.
I actually started writing out what a super difficulty would be, beyond Malice being Chaos/Rampage/Zenith mode. For the exo mechs, all three would be active throughout the entire fight, as well as being able to use their ultimate attacks whenever they wanted (Thanatos’ death Ray, Ares’ star lasers, etc.). Essentially it would just be an insane amount of shit going on and this just beating through your headphones as you’re fighting this monumental battle

Why everyone talking about Draedon's theme? It's currently in the works, and being considered a big, basically super-boss will need a new theme, not an existing one made by a person who no longer wishes to be associated with Calamity at all anymore.
