Cam Akers was dual-threat QB in High School in Clinton, MS, and was the #1 RB prospect in the nation and immediately set records at FSU. He played behind 3 of the worst O-Lines in school history and the country, but was still a beast. He really carried the team in 2019 and should be a stud in the NFL.
I personally would have liked to see the "WildCam" wildcat formation featured more as it had great success and allowed for maximum blocking.

They were ranked 129th out of 130 qualifying NCAA lines. That's awful. 904 of his 1100 yards came AFTER contact. 1st in the nation. Ridiculous lol
For his skill set I don't think there was a better fit for mcvay offense . Hes a bellcow but also a swiss army knife. Hes got a better arm than some back up quarterbacks. We needed a weapon like this to solidify ourselves again and imma say it he might not be the athlete Gurley was but I'd argue hes a better weapon all around cuz he can do more

Hope so! Last year at this time, we all thought Darrell Henderson would take the world by storm. He looked bad to me. A bust! Hopefully he plays better this season.
@Boss of the Bosses your drunk. He had a down year and still almost threw 6k yards. Far from a bust . His ol was in shambles the entire year and most of them were rookies who were never intended on playing.
@@mylovesongs2429 henderson isnt even close to the all around weapon akers is. No where near as strong. No where near the pass protector. Not much faster. 2 inches shorter than akers. Hes a change of pace baxk n akers is a bell cow 3 down back. Henderson had a top ol in college. Akers had one of the worst lines every year. And that's not to say Henderson is a bust cuz he got limited time behind the line not even Gurley could run behind last year. A healthy oline for the rams makes the world of a difference and I'd he shocked if akers hasnt won the job by the end of camp. They dont draft him at 52 If they have any intention on Henderson starting
And one last thing 904 of akers 1100 yards last year came AFTER CONTACT. Let that sink in a moment

Oh my Akers threw the ball 40 yards on a rope for a 60 yard completion. Steelers at #49 please. Kid can get 10 carries per game for the first few games and then Conner will get hurt and Cam will be the starter from then on for the next 7 years.

@@letsgetitthen4507 I get that it probably seems like that, Dalvin definitely was great, but they fumbled the exact same amount their first two years. Dalvin actually fumbled more his last year than Cam. I was surprised to see that. Not trying to argue w/ ya btw

@@letsgetitthen4507 yeah, exactly. Dalvin scored way more and had a lot of clutch performances too. He took over games against Miami, UF, Clemson etc
