Ribbon Cutting for Restroom Facility Along Virginia Capital Trail - May 30, 2024

Henrico County officials, bicyclists and other supporters of the Virginia Capital Trail Foundation gathered to celebrate the opening of a new restroom facility at Four Mile Creek Park.
Now, bicyclists and pedestrians will have another convenient place to rest, use the facilities and fill their water bottles as they travel the 51.7-mile trail. Four Mile Creek Park and its new facilities are between Dorey Park and Edgewood Plantation in Charles City County.
The Board of Supervisors approved the project in March 2023 to support the users of the VCT - a vital pathway between Henrico and other localities. The 900-square-foot facility was a collaborative effort between Public Works, Public Utilities and Recreation & Parks to bring essential amenities to all those who live, work, play and visit in Henrico.
