I'm 43. I rode BMX from 1995-2002 pretty seriously. It's amazing how far the sport has come. We couldn't even imagine doing the tricks they do now... It wasn't even a possibility back then... The progression of modern riding is insane.
Can anyone explain why jeanjean always seems to place 2-3 places higher than he deserves? He started great but got lost at halfway through. Logan Martin had more and bigger tricks.
And to think that there are people out there who don’t think there are physical differences between male athletes and female athletes. There are people who think females should be able to compete with males. That’s absolutely insane. If women competed against men in professional sports, they would never ever ever ever win anything ever again. They wouldnt even make it into the top 500. People are so out of touch with reality these days.

Yeah, I thought it sounded suss when I heard it was a Chinese clean sweep. Only just now watching this and Hannah won hands down. A few weeks ago there was a half marathon (I think) in China and three African runners slowed down, or at least didn't speed up, to let the Chinese runner win. Way to build national pride. Sad, given that China are very talented in other areas but they feel the need to cheat to show confidence.
The tricks these guys pull off on every single jump would have stunned the judges in the 90s
