You're right!!! I think I would be disappointed in that situation. In Korea, jjimjilbangs with only shower facilities and no bath are not common😮. It feels like your tiredness disappears when you go into warm water, but I'm sorry to hear that you couldn't do it at that time. Thank you for uploading your video👍
i love a good hot bath! lol, some of the Korean ones are really cool, too. With the stained glass windows on the ceilings, the statues of random animals, and all the colorful tiles on the floor and walls, it feels kinda like how ancient Rome might have felt. oh and then there's the guy in the corner butt naked on the table getting rubbed down by another guy, sometimes also naked. Great cultural experience 😆
yeahhh that's what i was thinking too, even though Nick T said there was another dude in there when he tried it, i was in there with two grannies and felt very odd lol.
Old jjimjilbang used to have baths and wet sauna but not sure how it looks recently. Jjimjilbang in hot spring areas usually has gigantic baths and web sauna.
Sounds crazy right! I had to look it up myself. I found an article that says the typical sauna temperature is between 140 to 200 Fahrenheit. And trust me, the sauna we were talking about was not a typical sauna and def not at the lower end at 150 Fahrenheit. The place had 5 different sauna rooms based on temperature level, and that was the hottest room, so that would have to put it at least 200 or higher. So yeah, I'm convinced it was actually 150 Celsius. You're not supposed to just leisurely go in there like Nick T did lol, you're supposed to cover yourself up completely with a blanket and cover your feet before going in.
When you go to a jjimjilbang, are you also a little disappointed when they just have showers and no baths?
Nah, I didn’t really grow up going to public baths like most people do cos my family didn’t!
After the pandemic, people are increasingly reluctant to go to public bathhouses for personal hygiene reasons.
your hustle is legit next level. Dropping a new video every day is some serious dedication. Keep it up, I’m loving every minute
thanks so much for your support!
Cousin! So awesome that people from all over find you while you’re out biking!

Korea gets into your soul for real. I’m going again next year, absolutely can’t wait.😊
Glad that you are posting more often these days. Thanks Nick!

Hi Nick~^^ I've been busy with work since today, so I watched it late. your videos always make me feel good. Thank you, Nick~♡
I want to go back to Jeju! I was there back in the 90s , it must have changed so much. So beautiful !

Hope Macho Man will return in future videos! Great addition to the show!
Such a lovely guy. Him and Mr Warm Showers from Daegu are great in any of Nicks videos.
I ‘ve never seen a country with so many statues and sculptures even at random places. Nice that it stands out throughout the series.
they are.... everywhere lol
Beautiful lookout point!
Any ideas Nick about your travel schedule for the new year? Probably somewhere warm, right?😊
that's what i'm thinking! Philippines or Thailand, and possibly a quick trip to Indonesia to see a buddy
Great video. Having Nick T along for the ride again reminded me of your Japan vlogs.
yeah he's great company! always down for anything!
That ramen machine is at convenience stores along Hangang River so the term Hangang ramyeon came about!

Thank you for the video, Nick and Machoman! That sauna chair seems like it might be primarily designed for women, but I could be wrong.

@@NickKTravel 😅That sure is odd!!!
🙂✨
I was there last January...
I am sure that it was 150 degrees in Fahrenheit.....100 degrees in Celsius is the boiling point!

@@NickKTravel 100 degrees Celsius = 212 degrees Fahrenheit ; 150 C = 302 F; 150 F = ~65 C
