  • Hey Guys! back on a bike after a little hiatus, figured id do a quick little video of my experience on a new to me zzr600. I've only had this bike for two weeks and ive ridden it around the area a couple times. Very early in the season still here in Canada, but had to get out for a quick rip!

    This was my wife's first bike. She loved it and it was much more comfortable on our tour to Paris than my ZX-6R. A class of bike that doesn't seem so popular these days.

    The shreek of enjoyment when a rider is first acclimating to a 600cc inline 4 never gets old.
    My first first bike back in 2003 was a ZZR250 and by summer's end jumped to a CBR600F4. So, I get it my dude!
    Nice find on the Kawi. It looks very clean! Enjoy!

    Yea that acceleration above 8000 rpm never gets old😍🤘 I bought a 1992 ZZR 600 two weeks ago, it runs soo well. Such a great bike - 30 years old c'mon!!? And it cost like nothing.

    Cool ride bro. Had a zzr600e for 18 years. Really enjoyed the bike. Had to let it go back in 2012 as it was getting very difficult to get spare parts back in my place. Yr vid reminds me of how I used to enjoy riding the bike.

    Those ZZR's were a fantastic bike, all day comfort on the road and made a really sweet and competitive race bike in race trim too.....

    This is an insight for me, thanks for sharing, I had an '07, 850 Triumph and am window shopping for one of these, I hope I don't end up sliding into a tree or something, so I look forward to your update when you can do a bit more aggressive cornering. It may help evaluate what these are like on uk roads. Ride safe and ride free...❤️☮️♻️

    I have zzr 600 -05, third riding season going. Was my first bike and I love it. But I get what you mean when you don’t recommend it as a first bike. It was a right first for me, but not for everyone. I got into riding well over 30 y.o. with no need to fool around as much as a younger me might have, so that maybe helps.

    Put a stage 3 carb jet kit and it will pull 115hp and thats its sweet spot. My 98 zzr600E model has that with a full titanium Yoshimura and its insane.

    Why do everybody say dont start on a 600 I mean can any bike do something to u if its ur first bike its not like they getting a 750 or higher I don't get it. My first bike was a 600 and still is lol

    • @stevemania1

      Some people do perfectly fine on these bikes, others get killed. its much easier to learn on something smaller and lighter. especially for those who have zero riding experience. Of course for people who have ridden dirt bikes, or drive manual cars and have good balance may be fine on bigger bikes. :D

      Like they say you can start on a 6 and end with a 6. Just gotta respect it 😎 but definitely agreed with the other comment, my first bike was a 6 and still on one haha

    The zzr600,s engine is just a detuned zx6r motor

    • @robertjeffery4664
      @robertjeffery4664 Год назад +1

      240 kmh isn't too much detuned & I have a 4 into 1 system on mine with jetting to suit & it does 255kmh if you're brave enough

    • @captaingoldbeered803
      @captaingoldbeered803 Год назад +1

      Zzr isn’t detuned, it’s just a re-release of the previous generation zx6r. They did it twice.

    I got it as my first bike, is not too much until you not go over 8k rpm
