But ilah is a masculine word and it can have plural forms. Likes Gods and ilah has a Feminine form too. God is masculine and Goddess is feminine meaning of that word. But Allah is unique. It comes from the word ilah and Allah means God. But the Word Allah can't have a plural form in Arabic. Allah is a singular word. Showing Allah is One. Allah is a gender neutral word. Meaning God have no gender. Allah means One God. We Muslims call One true God, Allah instead of ilah or God because the word Allah has many attributes of God in it. Saying ilah or God meaning the god is a male and God have plural form which is Gods. Allah is an unique word. It describes One God. It has a meaning but it can't be fully translated in any language. And translating it to God is what most translators of Quran do. Cause there is no word in any Lang that in One word describes absolute One god.

Surah Almominon:23 (Chapter The believers: 23) at it's Opening Speaks about a type of People who attain Allah's Pleasure.
Successful indeed are the believers. [23:1]
Those who humbly cry in their prayers. [23:2]
And who do not incline towards indecent matters. [23:3]
And who pay the (obligatory) charity. [23:4]
And who guard their private Parts. [23:5]
Except from their wives or the legal bondwomen that they possess, for then there is no blame upon them. [23:6]
So whoever desires more than these two - they are crossing the limits. [23:7]
And those who keep proper regard for their trusts and their pledges. [23:8]
And who guard their prayers. [23:9]
They are the inheritors. [23:10]
Those who will get the inheritance of Paradise; they will abide in it forever. [23:11]

Indeed We created man from a chosen soil. [23:12]
Then made him a drop of fluid in a secure shelter. [23:13]
We then turned the drop of fluid into a clot of blood, then the clot into a small lump of flesh, then the lump into bones, then covered the bones with flesh; then developed it in a different mould; therefore Most Auspicious is Allah, the Best Creator. [23:14]

Then after that, certainly all of you are to die. [23:15]
Then you will all be raised on the Day of Resurrection. [23:16]

And indeed We have created seven paths above you; and We are not unmindful of the creation. [23:17]
And We sent down water from the sky in proper measure, then stored it in the earth; and indeed We are Able to take it away! [23:18]
So with it We produced gardens of date-palms and grapes for you, in which is abundant fruit for you and you eat therefrom. [23:19]
And We also produced the tree which springs forth from Mount Sinai,21 containing oil and sauce for those that eat. [23:20]
Explanation Follows:
21. That is, the olive-tree, which is the most important product of the lands around the Mediterranean Sea. The olive-tree can last for 2,000 years or so, so much so that some trees in Palestine are said to be existing since the time of Prophet Jesus (peace be upon him). It has been attributed to Mount Sinai probably for the reason that the area whose well known and prominent place is Mount Sinai is its original habitat.
And indeed there is also a lesson for you in cattle. We provide you with drink out of what they have in their bellies;22 and you have many other benefits in them: you eat of them. [23:21]
Explanation Follows:
“Between excretions and the blood”. This refers to the most wonderful process of the formation of pure milk in the bellies of the cattle. For, the fodder they eat turns into blood, filth and pure milk, which is altogether different from the first two in its nature, color and usefulness. Some cattle produce milk in such abundance that after suckling their young ones a large quantity of it is left to make excellent human food.
and are carried on them and also on ships.23 [23:22]
Explanation Follows:
The benefits of cattle as means of conveyance have been mentioned here along with the ships, because in Arabia, camel was used mainly for this purpose, and has been called the ship of the desert for the same reason.
