Had the skate years ago, back when Oli was still doing business with FE. Funnily enough, I even had a bit of an impact on this frame design when it comes to visuals ;) It has been redesigned since, more streamlined and given CNC edge treatment, though. I wanted to like the boot and recognised it's quality. Plastics were ok, not Rollerblade-grade, but not behing what Powerslide and (especially) Seba were offering at the time. However, it was massive. In size EU43 (shell is for EU43-44) it had so much volume that I couldn't really get any kind of decent heel lock and front part of the foot was loose. This is definitely the most spacious shell I've ever seen in freeskates, easily beating RB 80, which is often pointed as a boot for wide feet with high instep. Falcons were super supportive, but the only liner I was able to skate it with was older version of Rollerblade Blank. This stiffness has paid off with big wheels and energy transfer was amazing, even though the fit of the boot was suboptimal for me. Stock liner? Not bad, very breathable, but not what I am looking for in liners, really. Too thin and not giving enough support for my taste. That said, my favourite liners ever are USD Phoenix, which most people hated for how rigid they were, lol. I have not sent my pair back to replace them for a smaller size only because cost of shipment to Spain from Poland and then back was insane. It was simply not worth it, considering that these were like my 11th pair of skates at the time (no joke). I can definitely see how a smaller shell could make it a go-for hardboot for me. The thing I was impressed with the most in FE Falcon skates was quality of the hardware. I still use the cuff bolts in my other pair, all screws were made out of super solid metal, forget the mushy whatever found in FR and Powerslide skates, lol. In fact, after I've finally gave up on trying to skate the boot which was clearly too spacious for my feet, I've butchered it out of all hardware and buckles and replaced them with Powerslide equivalents before selling it, hahaha. I am surprised to see that power plates now have only 3 holes, mine had 7. No big deal, still plenty of room for adjustment (especially considering that frame does have two pairs of holes for bolts) but somewhat of a downgrade. In the end, I cannot help but feel that Flying Eagle brand could be something special, but ended up being a missed opportunity. I cheered for the brand, recognised its potential and hoped that it can enter the European market as a counterweight to established brands. It was doing well for a moment, but then Oli has parted ways with them for personal reasons and everything went off-rails. No one has stepped up to carry on with his work. Shows how important a good marketing and product development director is, really. They haven't really made a new product since, the Enkidu and Drift 2.0 were released after he left, but were in late stages of development prior to that. On a sidenote - Flying Eagle skates are also licensed to 3rd parties. For example, Tempish was having their own versions of F4 and Drift (1.0) skates, I believe that I've seen F3S (Origami) boot being used by someone else, too. In reality, these are simple re-branded products, sometimes with different frames, so if someone is thinking about getting Flying Eagle skates, it may be worth looking around if one of smaller, local brands isn't selling the model under their banner. Might save you some bucks, at least on import and/or delivery fees, considering that FE skates are not that common find in Europe nowadays. The company does have very good tech and I believe that if someone who knows the skating audience and have fresh ideas would be put in charge, it could become a major player. Maybe one day.
The F7 Optimum boot with dual density has been the only boot that felt perfect right from the start - no break-in period whatsoever - at least for me. Bill Stoppard said something similar. And I really appreciated the metal buckles too! Also got it coupled with 3x110 supersonic frame as the F110H set. Amazing, solid skates for the price!
I used F6 falcons and got the super sonic frames after about 4 years of use. Really nice set up. Just bought the Powerslide Swell Nite 125 - 3D Adapt 2022 which are nice too. Flying eagles where a great fit for me to start. I honestly miss the off center wheels but the balance of the new skates didn't take long to get used to.
If powerslide offered you to use the supersonic frame. Would you love to use it again or do you knowadays prefer the trinity frames with symmetrical wheel setup? I'm 100% coming from the trinity side and really curious about the supersonic frame.
Thank you for making this video, I loved my F6s falcons so much as my first skate. There is not enough coverage of Flying Eagle in the English speaking world. I learned on their stock 4x80 EGO frame for like four months before rotating the axles and getting to experience rockering, which is just perfect for someone learning to skate. The liners in them are excellent... You can also put an Enkidu soul plate on the F6s as I understand it. So, three skates in one! However you will have a soul plate and 165 mounting, not UFS. Protip you can rub the labels off with acetone without damaging the boot for an extremely clean looking boot. I loved my green F6S Falcons, so I bought the Enkidu to experience aggressive skating. The stock frame is... Difficult. Sorry Oli 💌 but that Hblock is lethal and the plastic is so-so. I threw some Oysi frames on and it's been such a great year between those two skates. I can't wait to try some big wheels!
I have same eclipse boots with 4wheel frame setup. Bec I'm small size (39, so not that small) they came with 76cm wheels. I guess its ok with beginners to have small size wheels but I want to change them to 80s. The biggest con is the frame being small, fit for 76cms so 80cm wheels dont fit.
I will share some personal thoughts. I have F6s since 4 years ago and F110 since 2 years ago, both models prio of 2020's models which changes little details. The liner is not the same as F6s because the F110 is more narrow at the toe tip and shorter, so I used a 45EU for F6s and a 46EU for the F110. Finally I get a pair of F6s liners 45EU from FE chinese factory to my home and they were perfect for me like my old F6s ones. Also, I don't know why but the F6s has more holes (7) than the F110 (3) where you put the screws on the base plate for the frame. But one of the holes of the F110 is not well aligned so I need to force a little bit the screw with the frame, not good precision during the construction. And finally... the FE chart sizes are all fake because they said that F6s and F110/F5 use the same chart and this is wrong. I mesured 2x 45EU F6s, 45EU and 46EU F110 and the insole lenght was different from each model and also it doesn't match the charts. these were the numbers ( I will add a nike shoe as reference but I also did it with a powerslide imperial one 45eu) I have a photo of all of this but I cannot share it on a YT comment: Chart sizes: - FE chinese chart size (from chinese FE shop from their oficial facebook account): 45eu - 285mm and 46eu 290mm - FE european chart size (from any european shop): 45eu - 287mm and 46eu 294mm - NIKE chart size: 45eu - 28.5cm My testing: - FE F6S 45eu: 288mm on left insole and 285mm in right insole. (My left foot is 286mm and my reight foot is 284mm, 2mm difference) - FE F110 45eu: both 284mm (it hurts my left foot, my right foot was ok). - NIKE shoes: 285mm My recommendation is to try them if you have the possiblity, and remember that F5s/F110 has a narrow and shorter end than the F6s. My new F6s 45EU liners were not tested in lenght but they fit correctly like my old F6s. Addition: I bought a Drift frame and put it on these F110 and it starts hurting my heel. I don't recommend using that light and tiny frame on a F6s/F5/F110 if your boot is 45/46 like mine.

Thank you for this video. I’m keen to see your review on how they perform. I’m looking around the 110 Tri Skate market at the moment because I aim to do a lot more long distance skating to keep fit. I’m 64 and the skate park thrills and spills are no longer attractive.
IMHO most 110s are tall and short, which aren't optimal for distance and stability. You might like it. If you don't, there are aftermarket frames like ones from Endless that let you choose 3x or 4x. It's unique in that the 3x is extra long giving you stability and good push.
@@uu3903 I personally have to say I absolutely don't like the 270 long frames for triskates. They are great is driving straight forward is all you gonna do. But for breaking and sharp turns they feel really clumsy.... 243 is what I Fell in love with and I'm really curious one day to check out the 110 supersonic frame with its shifted middle wheel.

Cool Ricardo😊
will those mounting blocks fit a 195 frame?
They will, but 195mm frames are made with smaller mounting posts in mind, so there is a chance that second wheel won't clear of boot bottom.
These are the same as oxelo mf900 but for more money. They also have center wheel offset
It is able to put brakes on this model ?
I have the same question. I bought these and love them but want a brake for commuting.
