Thresher’s have been my favourite shark since I first found out about them as a little kid! There’s just something magical about the way they move with that super long tail!
Mako's have got to be the most terrifying sharks in existance. Really huge soulless eyes and mouth that are more flexible than Great Whites'. Goblins are scary and all, but their eyes are too small to be considered "scary"
Mako's are tasty though. But yeah, they're smart, fast, and pretty. They have huge eyes and are flexible. They're dangerous as a result, but not half as dangerous as a Bull shark. They're still limited to the seas.
The only account of a thresher "attack" was when some children were playing and it came to see the fish they were chasing at the shore, snd accidently slapped a kid when swimming to catch one of the fish lmao.
The Thresher Shark 🦈 has always been 1 of my favorite sharks, as well as the Mako shark 🦈 literally the fastest 😊 but both are indeed beautiful and definitely unique in their own ways but thanks for sharing 😊

Challenge accepted. Its hammer head sharks. Specifically the bonethead shark, they are by far the cutest and most unique shark in the world. They are the only shark to be herbivorous so that instantly makes them flashy. There cuteness is off of the charts like no other. While salmon sharks are adorable and flashy they just aren't as cute and unique as the bonnet head.
Mako should be THE choice. In a study they wanted to test sharks smarts. When sharks sense danger to their face they roll their eyes so their pupils are protected. So they hung large pieces of meat and then started to pet the shark during the feeding. The Mako was rhe only shark that after the first petting stopped doing the eye roll thing. It figured out that scientists were not a danger so it didnt bother. Thoufh if you want a shark more likely to play with you then eat you apparently you want a lemon shark
It's sorta ironic that the nuclear submarine USS Thresher was named after this shark, and yet it was lost with all hands as a result of NOT being able to do an emergency surfacing. Submarines can "blow ballast" and violently breach the water's surface like a whale. That's because blowing ballast pumps all of the water out of the ballast tanks and the submarine becomes extremely buoyant and rockets upward to the surface. Unfortunately, Thresher was deep diving and running tests when her crew was unable to maintain depth keeping and eventually attempted to blow ballast. Due to a faulty design, the emergency blow was not possible; she sank below crush depth and imploded. :(
The Mako is my favorite, but the Thresher is my second. My third favorite is the Nurse shark. Why is the Great White so popular? I think the Bull Shark is far more interesting.

I think another underrated shark is the blue shark. Very streamlined and elegant.
Been my favorite since elementary school. Sure the others are big and strong. But none of them whip fish in half like a Thresher does.
