I love this show but it would have not worked on Broadway unless they got the Circle in the Square Theater. The show’s way to small to work in a Broadway theater
okay i’ve known about this show since its L.A. concert performance a few years ago and damn the music has developed so much and i’m so happy to see it’s moved to off-broadway. hopefully broadway next !
I believe there is a single bootleg of the performance, at least that is easily accessible, of the off broadway run (it’s not perfect, missing the first little bit of Worst Team Ever and Mattie’s Lament, but the person did a good job of recording it)
I feel like I relate to this song in a way, I’m over pressured to do well in school and to lose weight. It’s all so hard on me so I turn to musicals to chill.
I seriously hope this goes on broadway. This is SO underrated 😭

It's written in the score to be a dissonant note. They're not flat.
The dissonant notes actually sound pretty cool, they even fit the theme :D
