It's written in the score to be a dissonant note. They're not flat.
The dissonant notes actually sound pretty cool, they even fit the theme :D

I love this show but it would have not worked on Broadway unless they got the Circle in the Square Theater. The show’s way to small to work in a Broadway theater

okay i’ve known about this show since its L.A. concert performance a few years ago and damn the music has developed so much and i’m so happy to see it’s moved to off-broadway. hopefully broadway next !

This was such an amazing show, getting the cast recording for sure! Sad that it's closing so soon, the cast did such a fantastic job.
Edit: just ordered the recording from Broadway records and I don't even have a CD-player anymore. Still worth it!
