  • Did Funko just scam their Fundays Campers by sending in person exclusives to online buyers? Funko Funatics are now receiving their boxes of funs from the online drops and some very weird coincidences surfaced that the pops given at the event weren't as exclusive as we originally thought!

    Honestly, Funko didn’t do anything special at this event like they said they would. They didn’t even give out prototype pops. Last year and the year before that was even the same as far as entertainment. Plus the food was better those years. For the 25th anniversary it was definitely nothing special.

      Yeah honestly they just ended up putting a sour taste to the 25th anniversary. I remember the 20th anniversary they have away those sick gold hoppers and had mini games to play left and right.

    I gave up on trying to get con sticker pops. I have been conned with a sticker swapped a couple times. So knowing it’s the same pop I tend to get the shared one now. This situation with number counts is wrong. For numbered pieces they should put the number on the box. Like one box is number 100 the next 101 and so on.

      Completely agree with you, but I think it would be a cost issue since these are still in the 1000s with limited piece runs

    and we are still going to have the people that sell the 250 pc sticker ones hyping the price up for a sticker. Some of these pops went up to 700-2000 dollars because people manipulated the price of them. I feel bad especially for the people that got screwed over by the aftermarket.

      Exactly there are real people that work regular jobs and save money for these figures that just got screwed

    There is literally no difference between con stickers and shared stickers. You say the fact that they are numbered makes a difference it doesn’t, because con pops are also lmtd, they may not say a number, but there are less con sticker pops out there then shares stickers.

    • @parksandpops
      @parksandpops  Год назад

      I understand that, but we have always known that shared pops and con pops are the same. That same concept should not be applied for numbered funko pops, a numbered item in every collectible hobby in the world means a production run. Funko can’t say that there are 250 metallic Captain americas with the funday sticker if there are actually 2,250 including the at home boxes. The real number should be 2250 LE not 250. A sticker does not change total piece count.
