Thank you for this review. After watching this and several others, it made it an easy decision to make this purchase. I'm so thankful for these videos. I recently bought a piece of junk mini food processor and learned my lesson from not checking video reviews!
I’m in the same boat, I bought kitchenaid because I love my mixer and it was absolute crap. How are you liking this one since? It’s definitely on my list!
I worked with Cuisinarts in the 80's and loved them. I "treated" myself to the model with one large bowl and a smaller bowl which fit into each other. That had a HUGE problem with food getting caught in the clear handle, in the lid and in all kinds of nooks and crannies. Can food get stuck in the handle anywhere or in the lid on the 14 cup. It was such a problem I gave mine away....
this machine makes me crazy..WHY won't the thing pusher go into the bowl the shaft thing that makes it turn on does not go through when the lid is locked in place...PLEASE some one make a video showing how to assemble and lock lid and pusher in place,. I can't use my expensive peace of .....
I am having the same issue. She means the silver key you mentioned (the thing that automatically stops the machine from working so you can add stuff; the safety feature) doesn't go in properly once you have the bowl locked in. I'm scared to push it in all the way coz it feels like it might break. Yours seem to slide in easily. Nevermind, looked for some more video's and found this: ruclips.net/video/Ln9JJs188dM/видео.html
@@palebluedot3 There are a few different ways to assemble it. You can twist lock the bowl on the motor unit, then twist on the top and insert the pusher. Or you can twist lock the bowl on the motor unit, insert the pusher into the top, and then twist on the top. Or you can twist the top onto the bowl, then twist lock the bowl onto the motor unit, then insert the pusher. What you can't do is try to assemble the bowl, top, and pusher, then lock it all onto the motor unit. That's because the safety tab will be sticking out of the bottom and won't allow the bowl to lock onto the motor unit.

No, the handle completely separate from the bowl on this one. I've never had food get trapped in any part of this food processor.

I can't figure out what you're trying to describe. Maybe the manual covers it?
