University vibe student here! She’s playing with burton grip which is adept at using mallets two and four for single independent lines rather than Steven’s which likes to use two and three. Both grips (along with traditional) have their own pros and cons and are all super useful. Typically it is more common to play vibes with burton and marimba with Steven’s in a mallet context
