Hey Zanna! First of all from seeing your unstyled hair in other videos I LOVE it unstyled! It looks so relaxed and really suits you. Secondly, I'm sure you're already well aware of this but something I found I missed when I was trying to recover my hair from damage was keeping it protected from the sun! Hats became my best friend and it really made a difference. For the longest time I completely missed out on the heat damage the sun causes. 🌞 I mean...we love the sun but he's a strong old bugger!
    Love xx

I went through the same nightmare a couple years ago...I know that the hair goes through a cycle and all, but around the summertime it started shedding like crazy. I live in Spain at the moment and the heat is really brutal here during the summer, plus the lockdowns...I attribute it to stress and maybe the crazy temperatures. My hair is also very fine and I noticed the difference big time...I literally freaked out and went to a tricologist, did a blood test and everything was normal. Then I started doing literally ALL the things you mentioned in this video and sure, it took time, but around the Winter time I could already see positive results and lots of short hair growing. After a few months it started to feel fuller again and it stopped shedding towards the late fall. Last year it happened again but not as much, and now I'm trying to stay calm cause the temperature is already rising like crazy here and I'm taking all my precautions just in case. It DOES get better, although at first it's like you're living in a nightmare, but it DOES grow back 💕 Watching your videos though, I didn't notice a difference, I think your hair looks beautiful!

Thank you for sharing how you’ve been getting such good heatless curls! I‘ve only used heat on my hair a couple of times in the last 6 months but it’s been a struggle accepting my natural messy hair- previously i used to either straighten or curl it nearly ever day!

Olaplex No3 is fantastic. You apply it before shampooing and it reconstructs the bonds in your hair. The No8 mask that you have is for AFTER shampooing💗

for Anemia we need to make sure we get enough Lysine as well
it helps our body hang on to those iron stores in the right amount
    most Vegans don't get enough
also since a Vegan diet is lower in Methionine what is great for a longer life span
we in return tend to not make enough Cystine what is basically the most important amino Acid for growing hair and producing Keratin.
all this is easily accomplished by getting adequate Protein .
i am over 10 years Vegan took trial and error to get the right balance...but i got there and its amazing when you do .

Hey Zanna! I’ve been through my own journey with hair loss, and I felt like sharing that because I have very fine hair naturally I had great success only conditioning or using masks once every other week. I found that the more I used conditioners (even though they were high quality) they softened my thin hair to the point where it gets so soft that it just breaks off with brushing. Just my experience but it may be worth a try if you think it may help ❤️ lots of love!

Thanks, Zanna. This is very helpful. I find hair building fibers - like Toppik - useful for hiding thinning areas, especially if you have dark hair.

Good choice on the iron infusion. Yes they make me feel almost feverish and sick for a few days after. Everyone is different of course but the long term benefits of not being anaemic is worth feeling off for several days in my opinion. Things you don't even think about other than hair loss and hair thinning like a racing mind, insomnia, anxiety, depressive mood, short temper and fatigue all diminish too after my iron infusions. You just don't realise how much your every day is impacted by anemia. Best wishes on you hair journey.

Did I miss something about the iron infusions? What is that Zanna?
I'm so glad you've found your solution. I always thought you looked lovely and never noticed your hair but hair makes a massive difference to overall self esteem.

When using olaplex be carefull with other products. If you combine it with for example other protins like hydrolized wheat protin. Together its to much for your hair and its prone to break. Thats whats my hairdresser told me.

Hi Zanna! I was thinking you could use hair oil instead of hairspray to smooth some fly aways? ☺️ Loved the video!

This probably isn’t as much of an issue due to where you live, but sunlight will also damage hair. I used to get awful split ends when I was a lifeguard and was outside for 30+ hours every summer. Wearing a hat, changing your hair style when outside, and trying to stay in the shade as much as possible will make a difference

Dear Zanna, thank you for taking us on your journey of hair loss and hair recovery 🙏🏼 Back in 2015 I was in a pretty much same place 😢. My hairdresser discovered a bold patch at the back of my head that wasn’t there 6 weeks prior to that visit. I was devastated 😢 I did notice that my hair was getting thinner but I kind of ignored it because I was very stressed out at that time (I was going through a very painful breakup 😢). After that discovery I immediately went to my doctor who was just amazing. We did a blood test which later showed that I had a deficiency in iron, vitamin B12 and vitamin D. Vitamin B12 was extremely low in my case. Over a period of 3 months I got vitamin B12 injections which helped refuel my reservoir. Vitamin D and iron I was able to recover by taking my supplements (all vegan). The root cause for my hair loss and bold patch was extreme stress. Even though I was nourishing my body with all the delicious plant based foods my body wasn’t able to absorb the goodies and basically just flushed the food through due the exposure to extreme stress. My body could only help itself to reserves. Now, 7 years later I’m in such a good place. My hair is completely back to normal thickness and I’m also in a very good mental health place 🤗 I continue taking my supplements and I have regular blood tests on annual basis. Also, I practice yoga in order to continue taking care of my mental health. That is also very important 🙏🏼 I love watching your videos 🥰 Love, Željka ❤️
