Celine is an amazingly technical singer... Her technique was excellent, and her voice is so unique and powerful ! Her resonance is maybe the best thing of her, one of the biggest and best resonance of the world. One of the greatest vocalist on earth.
RUclips Passerby Mariah said that when you’re singing with Aretha, you go to the backup singers, you let Aretha sing and don’t try to riff out with her
@@youtubepasserby8339 Apart from the obvious vocal slayage, she thought that it's kinda disrespectful to compete with The Queen Of Soul, that's why she kept herself through the background singers. Some say Aretha asked that tho so who knows. Legenday moment anyway tho!!!
I hate the fact that all of her recent performances are so highly filtered by the microphone and it sounds like she's autotuned... I know she doesn't need it, so I don't understand why she uses that

I assume this video is to highlight live performances but some notes included here are not live. The D5's from "The Power of Love" and "O Holy Night", A4 from "I've Got The World On A String", C#5 from "The Power of the Dream" and Eb5 from "All By Myself" are definitely lipped. I think "Ammore Annascunnuto" is also lipped. The low notes section are too brief though, there are some good ones; C#3's from "The Reason" and "Seduces Me", D3's from "Mr Paganini", Eb3 from "Taking Chances", "Love Is On The Way" and "Acadian Driftwood" and a lot to choose from for E3 to G3. As for the mid-belts, they could have been better. Eb5 and above could have also been much better, e.g. Eb5 from "Can't Live With You, Can't Live Without You", E5 from "Ave Maria", F#5 from "The Show Must Go On", G#5 from "It's Only Love", etc. She has been hitting quite a lot of good F5's to A5's from what I heard in these 2 to 3 years, especially from Sans Attendre tour and this year Vegas show. I think the C6's from "Love Can Move Mountains" are actually B5's and the C6 head voice/falsetto from the recording session is also B5. The A2 could actually be a B2 or C3, according to some. Anyway, nice video.
+zeissfan06 I think in "Ammore Annascunnuto" she definitely lipps. Celine moves her chin up and down so much while lyp-syncing. That's always very clear, especially in 3:34. Why doesn't she stop doing this to be more natural? Anyone who knows a little bit about singing understand that it's impossible to produce a vibrato by moving your chin...
+Mariano Rodriguez I would but not in the near future, most probably in the distant future. I'm in the middle of collecting information on her overall repertoire. Unfortunately, I don't know how to identify notes as I only rely on existing vocal range videos and conversation with some people who know about vocals. I may include rarely included notes such as C5 from "Quand On N'a Que L'amour", C#5 from "Le Blues du Businessman", D5 from "La Petite Vie", Eb5 from "Pour Que Tu M'aimes Encore", E5 from "Lolita" and F5 from "Je Chanterai", just to name a few.
+Dario2622 actually, it is not. Celine lipped that note during the concert (in Boston). I was even able to find the bootleg video from it. Later, when her producers were making a DVD, they decided to overdub some notes in order to make them sound unique. They did it to All By Myself, The Power Of Love definitely and a couple of other songs too. Yes, it's still her voice, but that note wasn't live
What you're hearing is a heady mixed voice. A lot of people consider it to be a weakness but it gives her notes a really cutting and distinct quality, not to mention that it's letting her belt up to C6 now, where she couldn't belt that high during the 1990s at the peak of her prime. If she had mixed like she does now, she would have been going way higher than she does now.
Bb6 foi um assovio, mas já vi ela exclamar essa nota em um live de "The power of love" Bb6 em whistle e Bb6 e C7 em fry no final do live de Beaty and the beast. #Queen
+Richard Vilms Em qual performance de "The Power of Love" o Bb6? O do vídeo não é um assobio não! E a performance que vc falou de "Beauty and the Beast" com casaco dourado é a mesma que tem aqui no vídeo e a nota que vc se refere não é exclamada é o final da risada dela, um pouco antes do B5.
the A2 is almost pure air haha, her mid belts are incredible especially A4, completely open throat & so much resonance. her upper belts are so heady though
Interestingly Adele and Celine can hit similar notes, but they are distinguished by that one's tessitura is lower or higher and other things like timber and technique
so great..and amazing the ear who can judge and tell us which note is which one..Can you do same with Madonna , Lady Gaga and 80s star Jennifer Rush please ?
Different notes that she is singing. Like in the video she keeps singing higher and higher, those are the notes she is singing. The notes only go from A to G and then repeat and the number tells you which octave it is, because the notes do repeat the number helps differentiate

She is one of the best vocalists on earth!! I would put her live vocal range on Bb2-B5-E6! (3,4 octaves)

Great Video, i love this D5!!! 5:38
I have a B2 -E6 range. So I feel accomplished.
I have F1-C8 :)

I have b1-c7
I HAVE F-4 to G17

why does Celines chest voice sound like head voice notes
