The 1st real technique I learned as a kid was a Carolina rig on this lake and I've had at least 1 tied on ever since. My family has had a camp here since I was probably 6 years old and I've spent thousands of hours fishing this lake. This lake really went through a slump when we lost all the but it's slowly turning back into a phenomenal fishery. Watching yall fish this lake the way yall did has really unlocked a lot of lake that I never thought to look for fish at and that's why I love it when these kinds of tournaments come to town because I learn something new every time.
What impressed me the most .. is even as a pro he still gave us at the end what he needs to do to be better.. gotta love a respect that !! Be safe keep slay’n them
Good Morning Edwin! You and Mr. Houston are the two folks I enjoy the heck out of just watching you guys fish. I have been waiting on this recap for awhile, and I'm sorry it didn't go the way you had hope, but it started my day off in the right direction. Thank you for that! Good luck at Santee Cooper!
Hey Edwin, I am curious now that this is over. Could you give us a tutorial on how you decided to fish this lake the way you did, what were the factors in choosing your baits and presentations, for example? Sorry if I missed you doing that already.
Love your videos Mr. Evers. And your advice is priceless and has definately helped me catch more fish. Just a heads up on those rods and reels. I have the spinning combo and it's the best rig I have ever fished. So smooth. Worth the money! And just yesterday I got a BPS ad where these combos are going on sale starting March 7, with your photo on the page. Problem is BPS has a supply issue with them. Going to be a lot of upset folks when they show up at a BPS with their trade-in. Can you talk them into giving rain checks? Sure want to buy a couple more of these combos! Thank you.
As always I get so much information, keep up the great work and the best of luck for the rest of the season. Hope to see you at REDCREST. How about doing something on fishing the Harris Chain in Florida, I know it's a big area and I'm just looking for a place to start?
Not complaining or anything, just an observation, but why does there seem to be so many instances where they're waiting for the scales to zero. Can't they turn them on sooner so they're ready.
Edwin, why do you not just put some needle nose pliers in your pocket to help get hooks out faster. To me, seemed like you struggled and lost time fumbling trying to get the hooks out with your hand ? Best of luck and God bless
He has needle nose in a cup holder right by the step down. I imagine most of the time he is so used to doing it well with his hands after 20 years of pro fishing. I know I am hopless without needle nose on trebles.
Try to limit the time on FFS. Too many times we get so focused on the FFS technology, we forget about all the other types of fishing. Shaky head with a yamamoto senko # 926 will put them in the boat.
I love your lures and videos keep up the great work
Thanks, will do!

It's hard to weigh fish with the boat moving up and down in the water.
Bro that drag on that spinning reels sounds rough time to upgrade
