My Sicilian immigrant grandma lived to 99. One of the main foods she fed her 6 children on was dandelion which she could gather in fields near her home. My mom was the youngest of the six. She is 93 and still saves the dandelion water to make coffee. I was raised on eating dandelion, boiled and fried with garlic and olive oil on a piece of open face toasted semolina bread. A little salt and that is my favorite vegetable! No one else I know eats it because they think it’s bitter. Too bad they weren’t introduced to it at 3 years old like me. I crave it and love it and enjoy it so much! Thank you Sir for being another person who understands the health values of this extraordinary “weed” dandelion!

@@OldAlabamaGardener Yes sir, few know the power of bitter herbs, fruits and vegetables. The bitter taste stimulants the liver pancreas and gallbladder to work better. Greatly increasing appetite, taste for healthy foods digestion and liver health. Constant eating of sweet foods messes all that up.

An honest response. She later began to walk and eat better and lost down to a more healthy size. You have to look a problem in the face before you can address it. My respect. Miss this cool guy. Rest on peace.

Hi, I am 50, but when I was 7, my brother and sister rubbed the yellow part of the dandelion on my face, and I started having trouble breathing. I told my mom, and she drove me to the hospital, I turned blue and was not breathing when she got me there. I guess it took three shots of adrenaline to bring me back. I had this happen one other time as a kid, and ma got me there in time again, same amount of shots. As an adult I haven't had allergies like i did as a kid, hope I can try this tea. God bless, and thank you.

Dandelion helps my eyes tremendously. My Story: In June of 2022, I started to see Rainbow Halos at night. At first, I thought it was cool that I can see "Rainbows" at night. Come to find out, my eyes/body was in trouble because they started to get really blurry and I thought I was going blind. After researching, I started to drink Dandelion Root Tea. After 3+ days, my eyes started to clear up and about 3 months later, the "Halos" was gone and I was able to see clearer. Although I am not sure why yet it made my eyes clearer and now NO MORE Halos. When I did some research on it... It said... "it is chock full of Vitamins A, B, C, and D, as well as minerals, such as iron, potassium, and zinc." Later on, I discovered that it's A and E and Iron that helps my eyes to get better and clearer. Thank you for the video, because I will start to hunt for the roots now since we are in winter.
*NOTE:* If you have too much Potassium in your diet, it will make your eyes blur. Dandelion helps you pee (diuretic), which removes Potassium + Toxin from your kidneys/liver.

Thank you so much for sharing this great information and remind us about the so needed healing natural herbs that God created for us. I do organic dandelion, 1/2 a lemon and 1 tablespoon of organic cold press olive oil.before my bed time. I don’t add any honey. I will try the tea that you subjected. God bless you🙏🏼❤️. I love this video. Thank you! You could add 1tbs of apple cider vinegar instead of lemon juice. And still add the honey, but just a touch. Cuts the bitterness better, and delicious! Makes it kind of taste like a Coke.

I enjoy apple cider vinegar anyway so y’all are gonna have me out in the rain gathering dandelions so I can sample now. Believe it or not we still have adolescent ones that made it through our baby blizzard/ice storm week before last. How? I don’t know 🤷‍♀️

If I don't brush my teeth and they rot, there is no amount of brushing that can bring the teeth back. Some diseases can not be reversed but I agree with you in theory. My doctor said exercise, lose weight, eat whole food, avoid drugs, read labels. By reading labels I mean be informed what is healthy and good for me. I have to protect myself. We are all unique and different. I have to be my own doctor first. Very dangerous. I practice medicine without a license and I only have one patient, me. Thanks for your good deeds.
