As per usual. Not a single late model 372 x-torque saw that i saw. Just pre emissions 372s and some 200 series saws. Mabe 272, 288 types. And a hole lot of good ol yellow saws for fun. . A early 372 with a opened up muffler, decent porting and decking, with a 390 or 395 carburetor. Totally makes a go getter. Bottom ends on 372s are very strong, push it to 17/20 thousands at TDC. Pop up piston, and all that machine shop fun.. Ive seen some use a 362/365 top end over a 372 they argue theres more material to work with for machineing and porting. With a 47 or 48mm, over the common 50mm piston. . The rare oem 51.4 and aftermarket 52mm dont have anywhere near as much to work with.
That was fun 😎
Some of the old saws with pipes did amazing times. 😊
Thanks for sharing ❤
Pat from northwest WI
Glad you enjoyed it
Nice field trip, thanks for taking us along 😊
Glad you enjoyed
@@BertsCustomCuts hard not to enjoy chainsaws being run at full throttle 😊
Great competition!! Some of those saws really ripped!! Stay Hydrated and Have a Safe Day
It was fun hopefully next year we compete in it.
WoW some very fast high performance saws!
Some nice saws a few could have been a little sharper.
Hi Bert great competition love it nice old saw good action Bert ( Ty Ron
Thanks 👍
Such a great and fascinating competition, everyone is so talented and creative
I hope it works next year to join the competition
Pretty Awesome Bert,
My phone got hot and wouldn't record any more. There were more cool saws there as well.
Cool chainsaw competition, couldn't hear you talking very well. Thanks for the video.
Im hoping to get microphones soon. Its on the list of things to get.
I know you and Gavin want to enter the Pinkway saw next year and show all those Hot Saws up.👍TCT
That was a thought. Mabey we'll have to port it before then and get it ripping faster.

Ive seen some crazy wild thing saws. They take those things to the max.
Very cool. You need to enter that with a saw. Either your sharpening u would do well.
That's the plan for next year!
Bert I think there’s enough cookies to lay down a good sized floor. Looks like a good time.
It would be a stinky floor. They were cutting cottonwood.
👍
Thanks for watching

Crazy saws. Thought the Jon’s did well. When your pipe is longer than your bar. I suspect that the operator weighs heavily in performance.
There were a lot of other cool saws, but my phone was overheating.
Fun video. Do the blocks sawed off have to be the same thickness.
Thanks.
No. They drew a line on the log, and all 3 cuts had to be within that end.
Ahhh. 👍🏻
Some saws could have been a little less aggressive on the rakers
We should look into it next year and compete in competition.
