Finally a new song!
This one's another one for toastbeard, this week's theme was "The End of Equestria"
Another eurobeat style song, this one was inspired by eurobeat brony, and even borrowed his chord progs at some point. Not my best one though...
I KNOW THE VOCALS AREN'T THAT GOOD- I don't have a decent microphone and I was kinda rushed (finished the entire thing in 2 days excluding the lyrics)

STORY LINE
Chaos, happiness, and misery are balanced in Equestria as it was many years ago, clouds cut between water and cotton candy, and days pass at changing rates. Nothing is constant just like it was meant to be and Discord maintains that intention. An ambitious white alicorn sees the chaos as destruction, and uses it as an excuse to take the world for herself. The world becomes a place of order and constants, under rule of Princess Celestia.
Discord was the true ruler of Equestria. The real Equestria. The ambitious Celestia didn't see Discord perfect reign of chaotic happiness, so she overthrew him in an apocalyptic event. This, was the true end of Equestria, when the king was imprisoned into stone. Today's Equestria is merely a mask, a post apocalyptic scene under the guise of Celestia's tyranny and need for control and constants. Now everypony has to control everything, the weather, the animals, the light. The "Equestria" we see in the present, is in fact, not the true Equestria. The true Equestria was destroyed many years ago.

Another fantastic Eurobeat tune. You get better with each tune! And for using the built-in microphone, you've mixed it really quite well! Here's hoping for more.

In retrospect, I agree. Well, there are parts to both versions that I like. At the time, I was really not fond of my voice in this one, and I had learned how to use a lot of new shiny production tools, so I basically convinced myself that this version was crap and that I needed to make a new one. But yeah, now when I look back, there are various elements in both versions that I enjoy!
@@JoshLohMusic Yeah, I love the instrumentals in this, and the passion behind the words. And with a little polish, that rap part would easily be the best and most impressive part of the entire song. While I still like the newer version, it was a little over-polished for what the song was saying.
(Oh, I should probably mention that I got here from InterrobangPie's crossover of this with Kirby. I loved that song for years before realizing it was actually based off of something. ruclips.net/video/P8RHDid1th4/видео.html)

What is anarchy but the progressive stage between forms of rule? I think that the true question that this song raises in my mind is, "What was the crime?" If Discord ruled as he saw fit, letting the world fall into what it naturally became around him, was it not Celestia tampering with the "Natural Order?"
On the other hoof, it is said that ponies were tortured by Discord's rule, and he did seem to be abusing them for entertainment... But history is written by the winners. We know little.
Cool song, interesting idea. I like the re-interpertaion of what Equestria was like under Discord. History is written by the victors right.
Beginning sounds like the Pokemon theme song. After that it was just Awesome! Coming out with your own lyrics damn cool! good job!

I'm happy to come across this song again! Both versions are good, but I think this one sounds more 'genuine' than the 'better version'.

Something about this instrumental sounds cooler than the new version, but I still prefer the singing quality and octave change in the new version. Also, the rap wasn’t necessary for the new version, so I agree with most people. Not unless it was done cleaner.

@JoshLohMusic I thought you did a great job I would never be able to muster up the courage to do something like this.
Love how this is formated like an epic poem of sorts, but Celestia did NOT have authoritarian and power-hungry motives in overthrowing the self-proclaimed spirit of CHAOS. Why else would the Elements of HARMONY been used to stop him? You get a glimpse of Discord's unhindered rule and what he could do in a matter of days. Is that a noble and just "freedom?"

I'm not a fan of Eurobeat but it's done well and vocals are spot on apart from one or two words.
The lyrics are...uh...bronyish but they work.
I'll have to listen to some more of your stuff.

wow this is just incredible it makes me think what if it turned out celestia was actually the evil one masking her acts as 'justice' and what if luna tried to stop her and thats the real reason luna sealed her away in the moon o.o
The rap definitely should have made it over to your updated version, it would have made it even better, and that part was quite unique.

This is brilliant! I love the chorous, and I won't be able to stop singing it for a while now.
The only thing I could tell that could use improvement is lyrics - some of them don't seem to fit into the rhythm that well, seems a bit awkwardly made to fit in places. I don't know if that's what you were aiming for, or if it was accidental.

omgomgomg, demand a remastered version plzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz (appleblooom plz), this is good, but it could be so much better if you didnt rush it, in other words speak out the words clearer in some cases, probably better mic, vocals are where you could really improve this song.

I accidentally used a similar chord prog, with the first 3 chords being the same as luna (i VI VII) but then its different
In fact for the most part it was inspired by Discord (The bridge has the same chord prog)

Actually, this song didn't inspire the entire song "Daddy Discord", just the line about Equestria returning to its "Natural Chaotic State". I don't think I could ever write anything that could compare to this on the same level. Which is why I focus on a completely different genre! >:3

A nice song. First time I heard it I couldn't quiiite hear some of the lyrics, but that's mostly cleared up on my second listen - maybe I was just tired :/
But I still have to read along at the "badly attempted rap" section at 2:50, it's a bit unclear.
