I think the Japanese sites are the way to go cause even though the shipping will be like $20, it’ll still be about $20-30 cheaper than ordering from bbts or another one from the US
I agree, only thing is that you don't want to pay $20 shipping per toy so you try and buy different ones that come out at around the same time to not have them be delayed too much, or at least I do. Although like you said, if you paid full shipping for each, it would still be less than ordering them here. Thanks for watching!!
Deadpool does have some freaking amazing articulation. Who should I have him fighting first ? Maybe fighting shredder? Or a ninja turtle? The possibilities are endless.
Yah I've noticed some figures go the distance while others don't. Mezco mostly does. But then again they have cloth goods so they can go cheap on the body especially the articulation. But they make up for it with heads and hands and accessories. So I'm not disappointed but yet I don't know what's better a stuff figure with a lot of a highly possible figure with less??
I just think that mezco’s articulation isn’t that bad. Actually it’s pretty good, not Mafex or figuarts good but good and they include so many accessories and so much detail. Combine all of those things and I know which brand is my favorite. I just ordered darkseide and practically have everything else on pre order. I cannot wait !
You have a really good point about the hands. I was just upset I didn’t get a gun, ha. And then I realized they cannot Include guns because of some law.
Yah half agree but lol at least they can come with gun holsters or something where you can add holsters. Least sh did that not that I'm praising them since I had to spend more money to get that option
I can 3D print my own guns or also use some from packs that Valaverse makes. I would prefer they come with them already but here we are with the no guns rule now.
I love this figure more than I thought I would. Despite the lack of guns, which is understandable. The body sculpt and accuracy to the comic source is amazing.
The sculpt and the articulation is amazing. I’m happy I bought it. I buy everything though. For me it’s just that I’m such a fan boy of Mezco products and how they give you so much and all with so much detail that I really wish Mafex did more for in that area especially since it’s $95 retail, but the articulation is just so amazing so in a way it balances it out. Thanks so much for watching !!
@@ArtsyToys I know what you mean. But Mafex do give lots of accessories depending on the figure. Look at their live-action figures: The Terminator, (which even has lots of guns because of no restriction on its license), the Mandalorian, the DCEU and the MCU (Their Endgame figures are more comprehensive in accessories than anyone bar Hot Toys). The difference being, in their comic book figures is that Mezco are very artistic and liberal with their designs, in that they're not representative of any set artwork or storyline and instead are more inspired by them, so add their own spin on their outfit designs, and as well as being able to include firearms with them, are able to give them any accessories they choose to. Mafex on the other hand, approach their comic book figures differently. They base them on specific artists drawings, well loved storylines and designs, and they don't deviate from that source, which can limit what accessories they can provide with their figures, but give them a very accurate, recognisable and iconic look, which is very important to some collectors. Hope that helps.
@@ArtsyToys Case in point; this Mafex X-Force Deadpool is an exact representation of Esad Ribic's (thanks D Amazing) drawings of Deadpool, that Mafex even went the extra mile and gave him his own unique body mould, with less musculature and a more realistic, man in a suit outline and dimensions. Instead of reusing the same super muscled Jim Lee Cyclops/Batman Hush mould they have been recycling since April 2020. The same goes for their X-Force Wolverine as well; a new specific body mould rather than the Jim Lee body mould on their tiger strip and brown suit designs which he drew in the comics. This is what really appeals to me about Mafex's comic line; instantly recognizable and unmistakable details and designs.
@@ArtsyToys Yes, I do have the DP 2.0 version. I have the classic look one. I think for me overall thats the best commercially available Deadpool Action Figure. In terms of quality, sculpt, articulation, and accessories.
That’d what I’m saying. I get that there’s a law that says Japanese figures cannot have guns and that’s why it has no guns but then why not give us something else or at least lower the price. $105 is tough to swallow no matter how nice it is.
I always kinda die when I hear someone say May-fex instead of Mah-fex, so I'm legitimately glad that you pronounce it right. This figure looks like, uh... one of the figures of all time. It just looks so _plain._
Ha, to be fair at the very start of me even knowing about the Mafex I did pronounce it wrong. I'm so glad you enjoyed the video. I'm trying to show you all of the details but in this case the lack of. I agree so much that these figures from Mafex are just so plain looking. Thanks again for watching!
That too. I don’t mind the version of Dead Pool but I wish they would make other characters. How about Beast? Or a cool Bishop, Omega Red, I mean something that hasn’t been done before.
Isn’t that the truth. I swear the Yamaguchi ones just look off to me. They are the only ones that I haven’t collected but I am looking at that moon knight coming out. Have you checked it out?
It’s called Plaza Japan. You may also want to try hobby link and Nin-Nin-game. The ordering process is a bit more difficult because you want place orders for items releasing at the same time to get them shipped out to you as soon as possible. I’ve ordered a few things so far from each and the figures are perfect so far. You’ll save so much when you order multiple items so that shipping charges are less. Thanks so much for watching!
Love Mafex, but as anything else, they aren't perfect. This Deadpool has the case of the cankles. It seems a lot of Mafex figures do but this Deadpool has them the most. Makes him seem stubby but I am sure once posed he will look better.
Yeah far from perfect and after it’s all said and done I’ll still keep buying them. I like them enough for sure. I have my preferences but I just really love having all the figures you know. The candles, ha you’re right! Do you think these figures are worth the money? Full price ?
@@ArtsyToys I'm guilty of buying them. I have 18 so far and a few more pre ordered. So yeah I look at it this way. Do they make me happy when I look at my display? Yup! So they are worth it. I been trying to order from amiami more often though so the price is better. I still preorder from BBTS too if I am lazy.

Agreed!
$20 ??? Fam every site I check including plaza Japan is $50 and up for shipping. Maybe it’s different for me cos I live on the west coast.
I do love how he is so articulated but I agree that they could have done a bit more with the paint and the detail.
Thanks for watching !
X-force is my fav comic. Mafex did a great job. great vid.

Thanks for the video! Great lighting.
Hell yeah thanks man. Thanks so much for watching !!! Is there any particular figure you’d like a review on ?

I rather they include gun holding hands so I can use my own than not having that option at all

If youre a Deadpool collector, this is a must have. The best X-Force Deadpool out there IMO.
P.S: I'm a Deadpool 1/12 collector
Oh I agree. Do you have the amazing yamaguchi Deadpool by any chance ? If so, how do you like it ?

Compared to the older marvel legends, this one is lacking big time in accessories. Just swords?? Comon 😂

Of all the characters to make...

@@ArtsyToys we need a high end 1:12 Nightcrawler.
Oh hell yeah. Nightcrawler would be so bad ass. I think that figure would sell. Instead we get 1000 variations on the same characters.
On Amazon he is like 77 bucks which is pretty decent
Just bought this figure from big bad toy store for $61.74 during their daily deal. Couldn’t pass that up.
i did too hes coming in tomorrow
you could always dye this red
The swords are cool.
They are really cool actually. They have this wide base at the hilt so it would take a look for them to break off.
Looks a way better the amazing yamaguchi tbh.
