Tbh I don't think they'll do that with this release. They only ever do that with figs that are RIDDLED with qc issues like their iron spider and the nolan trilogy batman.
The artist you mention in the review seem to draw them a lot with just the katanas. Sometimes guns but more of the katana. This is an excellent review and they were clearly specific in the design. Great review. I love this figure!
Finally got one of these ordered for my birthday this year. so stoked. Wolverine was my first Mafex, and since the only issues with him are the blue stripes and the arms, which are more "minor inconveniences" than problems, I think after I have Deadpool in hand I'm going to be hooked.
I want to get this figure, but right now I can't, too much stuff coming out at the same time, lol. Also need to get Gwenpool, those guys will look amazing together with that style.

I have 1 Mafex figure in my collection, the Homecoming Spider-Man. I have not regretted that purchase one bit, it's an amazing figure and excellent quality. It's also the reason why I'm patiently waiting for Mafex Iron Spider instead of getting the Figuarts version. Even though I love SH Figuarts and it's my number 1 go-to company for import figures, Mafex convinced me to wait.
I considering passing on this version of DEADPOOL if only to hold out for a movie version ... although @ this point it seems unlikely we will see a movie version in 1 / 12 scale . I am also anxiously awaiting MAFEX THOR as well as hopefully many more MCU MAFEEX . Any information as to when we can expect MAFEX THOR to be available for PO ?

Robo, are you getting the Mafex John Wick? This Deadpool is tempting to pick up and replace the Marvel Legends. If Mafex comes out with a version closer to the earlier comics, like they did with Spider-man, I will definitely get him.

That's where I am too. At least there are gun slinging hands, I have a bunch of stuff to throw in there. I didn't think I'd care for the style but I ended up REALLY liking it.
awesome job with this figure, I do not think anyone could cover it much better than that. I do not collect too many of the MAFEX line, but if someone was on the fence with this one, the video should help them decide.

Spidey is cool, but the colors came out a bit drab. This Deadpool is awesome all around. Grab it, and then grab the MAFEX Spidey 2.0 with the comic book shading in December. Win win!
Hmm, looks good, but so full of contrasts - no guns, but shedloads of hands (well done Mafex), swappable buckles, but fixed eyes...? I've not gone in on this, though am off to look up Deadpool movie stills and looks at how easy it'd be to convert this into a movie version, as it feels like a solid figure... 🤔
Honestly, I'm liking it even more today than yesterday. You can see Reynolds peeking out in some poses. The hips are tight but everything is so fluid, and guns from the bin make it so much better, it's made for holding firearms. I thought the style would get to me but I don't even see it, it's replacing my Legends DP on the shelf.
I definitely like the faces more on the Mafex Deadpool compared to the rest, expressiveness is a bigger element of Deadpool to me than guns, which are easy to grab from other figures
@@TheDeadrumors I got my Mafex Eva 01 yesterday and don't have any QC issues. My right shoulder is slightly lose but holds a pose no problem. The paint application is good too, no splotches and the tampo printing on the forearms is clean.
The flooding has my local FedEx all crazy so who knows when I'll be getting my Mezco stuff. It's all lost in the system. I really want to give those Daredevils a go though.
Really wish some company out there would put out a movie Deadpool figure, there's a bunch of nuances about that suits design I really like and dont wanna spend hundreds on the damn hot toys version.
To be fair Hasbro didn’t give Deadpool some guns either in the Sasquatch wave... Wasn’t until later that they gave him guns. Plus if you also got the latest Hasbro Deadpool you could just give the Mafex one it’s guns.

John Wick was my first Mafex and I loved it so much I immediately started ordering other Mafex figures. Loved Two Face, but my Bane was riddled with some serious QC issues like floppy arms, a broken hand peg out of the box, and TWO bare right arms that I swore the line off. But this DP is seriously making me consider jumping back on.

MAFEX has 100% gotten better in quality, paints, joints etc. and that's so awesome. They do a lot of stuff not many other companies do so that's great. Though, they certainly used to be known for exploding out of the boxes, for sure.

Looks like the Revoltech DP trounces this one when it comes to accessories and sheer poseability.
Oh yeah, they usually do, but this one kills it in more neutral stances and overall presence.

Definitely not perfect, and I didn't have the same problems you had with Bane (love that thing) but I'd say it's no more than any other company.

Mafex still sucks. For their price, their figures are Crap. Are Nice figures but far from being excelents or perfect. Much better Mezco.
