Good review, but for me the Atlantis Mini, all the way I like the LOD, and the way that curve you don't like make it easy to lift off and flick, but each to their own I guess. Subbed :)
Great video. Just a correction for future reference, the Lamzu uses Huanu Blue shell Pink dot switches not opticals. Only the Lamzu Thorn uses opticals at this point
I think at the time of making this video, literally only razer were using optical switches, not sure why I said that, must have mixed up words or something.
I mean, it's going to be hard for me to call. I wouldn't really recommend either for palm but I also have large hands. I'd recommend the standard Lamzu Atlantis for palm to be honest, then based on if you feel that's too big, then consider maybe the mini but I don't see the mini being viable for many in palm grip.
great review, very detailed i love it, i have orochi v2 right now but i wanna try something new, which one i should choose? i can play both claw and fingertip but prefer finger tip most time, x2 mini?
Thanks - really glad you enjoyed! If you want a mouse you can claw and fingertip, then a regular sized X2 is a good shout, it's what I'm using in my most recent vid. The mini is pure fingertip really. It's still my favourite out of the two just for how nice it is for fingertip. Fully up to you and what you want out of it though, I'm enjoying the standard x2 a lot ^^
Hey Zewwm, great review! I was wondering what your hand size was (length and width) so I can put it into perspective. The LAMZU Atlantis mini just looks so good. I also switch between claw grip and fingertip depending on what I'm doing. Thanks for the review!
I'll be honest, because I've always fingertip gripped, I've never really concerned myself with hand size however I'll take some measurements and come back to you on this one👍🏼 Glad you enjoyed the review^^
i have a viper v2 pro and i am considering getting one of these, mainly just to mess around. i am not sure they will replace my viper as i have 0 complaints with it so far and a ton of hours on it, but i am getting interested in trying a smaller mouse again. had the viper mini for a while but i didn't like it all that much, tbh.
Fair enough, I wasn't a fan of the viper v2 shape at all. Infact I had the sensor taken out and put in a starlight small shell which is a lot better :D the sensor and internals are very nice in razer products. I think it ultimately just depends on your grip. If you rely on palm interaction with the mouse, then small mice may be generally hard for you to use unless it has a large hump. In that instance, lamzu mini would probably be better.
If you're talking OG Lamzu or mini Lamzu, both are great, it's hard to say what you'd like because both are good at what you want them for but personally I'd go mini.
I mean for claw grip users there are some really good options at the moment: I'd more likely go with something that has a good hump if you use that part to contact the mouse. Something like the Lamzu Mini (but may still be worth waiting for a coloured/painted variant as will be nicer to grip), Ninjutsu Sora or X2 Regular would be me considerations for your grip. I'd personally wait for the painted version of the Lamzu Mini out of those 3 - hope that helps :)
@@Zewwm its not really claw grip though, its pincer "claw" by name but i think its more closer to fingertip grip. so im not sure between the x2 (like you said is better for ftip) or lamzu mini...but ty for replying :)
Just cancelled the x2 mini and ordered the atlantis mini. Was super curious about the overall shape though. I'm a bit of a palm gripper myself (unintentionally)
In all honesty, you probably did a good thing. If you're a full palm gripper then you may even find the Lamzu mini too small and may want to consider the OG full size version. Tbh, I even fingertipped the full version (I have an xm1r which is what the Lamzu shape is based off) so for a full palm user, personally I woulda gone OG size. For people that more claw grip with a bit of palm then the mini should be fine, you might find yourself adapting your grip to suit it but IMO, adapting your palm grip to include arched fingers in a claw style will allow you to be more responsive and learn more mouse control so maybe the Lamzu mini is what you need to get your aim to the next level. Everything is preference at the end of the day so it's really up to you what you want :) I hope this helps with some insight.
@Zewwm yes exactly. Hopefully I can adapt. I use my mouse more for PowerPoint and work as well so I do the fingertip/claw when I edit things in detail zoomed it. I'll let you know how it goes. Should be arriving tomorrow :)
@Zewwm you were right. Lamzu mini was too big. My pinky and 4th finger had no where to rest other than the mouse pad. Lamzu atlantis og, x2, xm2we or maybe a razer mini...at least the list is shrinking! 🤣
I really love my OG Lamzu, waiting on the black Lamzu mini and hope it's griper. I'm not the biggest fan of putting grips on a good looking mouse unless they have a cool design such as my roccat mouse, with white blue splattered looking paint from TrueGrip.
yeah I feel this. I got G Pro Superlight in black... pretty sure it's uncoated because thing got slippery real fast, same with Zowie ZA13-C which I watched multiple reviewers with the same issue and now the Lamzu Mini uncoated unfortunately feels the same to me. The only mice I've put grips on were the Starlight small because it was too thin without them (grips added 5mm width which really helped) and the G Pro, but the Lamzu I feel I'm just wiping down and attempting to clean every few games of APEX. I think the coated ones are definitely worth the wait and should be coming soon^^
Hi! I used pulsar x2 mini and Atlantis regular size I like stability on atlantis while tracking, but I feel too clumsily with it because I can't move it as fast as pulsar x2 mini (when you need to turn around) however with x2 mini I can navigate to any place easily and fast at the same sense Do you think I should get Atlantis mini? Or reorder pulsar? My pulsar x2 mini is refunded because of the baterry issue now, I only have regular Atlantis left I do also like Zowie ZA13 shape more then Atlantis Regular when I put my whole hand on it enveloping it Grip is something between fingertips and relaxed palm (If matters)
Hey, For me, my favourite shape is the X2. I just recently got the standard size (only had mini prev), it's great for hybrid fingertip and claw. If you want a taller hump like the ZA13, then I'd choose the Lamzu Mini. I have the ZA13 and liked the hump but the shape was always too thin for me. The Lamzu Mini is diffinitely closer to the ZA13 than the X2. Really up to you but by sounds of it you'd really like the Lamzu Mini - just don't get the white one as it's uncoated - any other colour will be alot more grippy :)
Optimum tech posted a video on the click latency for the Pulsar X2 and there was a post on twitter a month or two ago regarding the Lamzu click latency being really bad after testing. From what I heard, Lamzu we're going to be addressing the click latency with firmware update and the 4khz lamzu has far better click latency than the standard. Both are should be fine regarding latency now. If you'd like to see the exact switches used, these can be found with a Google search for their technical specifications. Hope this helps :)
Amazing review man really clear - helped me make my decision for 2k23, focusing on using the x2 pulsar mini for finger grip
Thanks! Hope you enjoy it as much as I do^^

how does the x2v2 compare to Np01s or zaopin Z1 Pro for fingertip? im currently using mm720 and i dont find something better
