12:50 Anthony asking his drummer if he's okay was heartwarming as fuck. This band kicks their own asses on stage as much as the crowd is kicking theirs in the pit. Realness
IlIIIllIlIlIlIIl 95 percent of “crowdkilling” is dudes baby tapping each other in faux fight form. If people worried less about having a spot to Instagram or Snapchat other people moshing I guarantee shows would be better instantly
I don't know man. bald dude at 13:31 in the bottom right looks like he just wailed on someone and they had to picked up off the ground. people take it too far and act like total assholes.
IlIIIllIlIlIlIIl a hypothetical though, could these moments still happen if the full floor was filled front to back. Because in my experience that kind of moshing evolved from open floor shows
yep, sure could. my point is the reason why the floor is empty is because people act like this and the idea of a good time for the majority of people isn't getting purposely smashed in the face. some of this is neither dancing nor moshing. it's just attacking people.
The cool thing about the rising metallic hardcore scene is that all of these bands coexist and love and listen to each other’s content. For example. i wouldnt exactly say Code Orange and Turnstile are very similar in sound or feel, but they both support the shit out of each other on social media. Bryan Garris of Knocked Loose said on their recent tour that all that he listens to is the bands that were opening for them, Year of The Knife and Jesus Piece. Like every band in this scene has their own unique sound and expression, but they all coexist and thrive together. I mean damn, Code Orange are bringing Harms Way, Twitching Tongues, Vein, and Trail of Lies (among many others) with them on their tour this summer while also bringing in some soundcloud sadboi rappers. Like they really dont care about how much better one band is than others, it’s all about having a great show and growing the scene together. Pretty dope honestly, making this easily the scene everyone needs to be following.
code orange will fade out. they are very concerned with their image and over the top cringey as fuck live shows.. now in typing that I might be very wrong b/c the new era of jock/meathead fucking cunts (look even at this show at the assholes full blown taking punches and slinging people half their size down 7:38) HC lives but the scene is fucking dead.
Man I like this band a lot but I have to say, a lot of these new prog metal bands' vocals aren't too good live, not saying I could do better, but like this band, Code Orange, and Knocked Loose (bands that I love) don't have very good live vocals
I mean the vocalist has used a couple different vocal styles on their albums and its difficult to do that almost every day for months on end touring. I was at this show and when the vocals sounded intense and it went perfectly.

Why isn’t everyone talking about these guys? Great absolutely great band best I’ve heard in awhile from the underground.
Start talking about them and then maybe more will.
Jeffrey Wilke
You have a point there.
Literally heard them for the first time a couple of weeks ago and I’m impressed, I’ll try and spread the word.

kids who got into hardcore during the pandemic would not have survived a Vein set in 2017-2019 lolll
7:38 my boy went full flaccid
I didnt realize i was thrown by my hair until i saw this video. It felt like outta no where i was flying
That new song, holy fucking hell. Insanity.
I almost died of laughter at the whole trash can part
Fantastic edit
ASAP JOBIE I appreciate it! Very fun band to film
Reminds me of this heavy as fuck band called Puritan from the mid 90’s. So good.
Hate I missed y'all last Monday in Alabama. Please return soon!
Anyone else get Dillinger Escape Plan and Converge vibes from these guys!?
i do a lot. Vein is so great.
I get bits of Converge mixed with say Orchid and even some stuff like Deftones and Glassjaw.
3:59 dude went flying and never saw it coming
Cashman42000 the shit i live for !!!
Security dude at 10:35 was so quick to stop that trashcan lol
that was my boy with the trashcan. Tampa, meet Boston
So are these guys working on a full length album yet or what? That 2016 demo they did showed promise with some slight Deftones touches.
New full length somtime this year.
they’re recording something with will putney so it should sound fucking insane, i’m like 90% sure it’s a full length
vibes it is about 30min long talked with them
creekandseminole pre orders are now out closedcasketactivities.com/vein/
new song is demise automation 7:31
I hate these big open pits. Wish they would close it up
I was there and you cant tell from the video but people were legit killing each other that show was insane
sucks to see only a handful of people in front of the stage. shows how out of control the crowd killing has become.

LI Joe brought me here... that's all I'm saying..
This band blows code orange out of the water
Tyler Tremblay I mean they aren’t really in competition
i see the similarity though. pretty fat
Nah, you can’t compare em’. But CO still is doing it best.
