I would just be careful saying that someone can continue to hang around temptation without being impacted eventually. Really cool object lesson, perhaps it can be applied to a different concept?
What is grace? From G5463; graciousness (as gratifying), of manner or act (abstract or concrete; literal, figurative or spiritual; especially the divine influence upon the heart, and its reflection in the life; including gratitude): - acceptable, benefit, favour, gift, grace (-ious), joy liberality, pleasure, thank (-s, -worthy). How do we receive grace? Faith accesses grace! Rom 5:2 By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God. Saved through “Faith” accesses His grace! Eph 2:8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: The grace of God teaches us to walk in righteousness! Tit 2:11 For the grace of God that brings salvation hath appeared to all men, Tit 2:12 Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world; Tit 2:13 Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Savior Jesus Christ; Tit 2:14 Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works. Tit 2:15 These things speak, and exhort, and rebuke with all authority. Let no man despise thee. So “Faith” is “Not Sinning”! Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world What is Sin? 1Jn 3:4 Whosoever commits sin transgresses also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law. Does a person have TRUTH (JESUS) if they don’t “Keep His Commandments”? 1Jn 2:4 He that says, I know him, and keeps not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him. Joh 14:15 If ye love me, keep my commandments. The Law is not about salvation, it's how we show our love to God and others by "Keeping His Commandments"! 1Jn 5:2 By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God, and keep his commandments. 1Jn 5:3 For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and His commandments are not grievous.

“And lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil.” The Lord showing us how to pray (Matthew 6). We have a high priest who has been tempted in every way as we are (Hebrews 4). Do not be deceived as Eve was when tempted in the Garden. Only someone who has never read the Bible (KJV or otherwise) could claim it doesn’t mention temptation, which leads to sin, which requires grace: the entire point of the Word of God.
Here’s a pretty trollish way I stole to teach grace in my morning devotionals with my middle school students. I just start with some Bible trivia. I knew some kids would raise their hand immediately to show off their smarts. And you’ve got some kids who barely say a word. So then I raise the stakes, I simply told the students I had 3 Chick-Fil-A coupons. Which I do. But the students will think just because they got the right answer on trivia, they get a coupon. Anyways, I start with a question, kids raises hand, answers correctly, and I give the Chick-Fil-A coupon to the kid who wasn’t raising their hand. Same procedure for the next two questions. Then their perplexed looks finally turns into a light bulb. The kids who got the coupons did absolutely nothing for the gift. Simply being in my classroom was enough for me to give them a gift. Grades, personality, performance etc. did not matter. Unmerited favor.

Terrible way to teach grace
I agree sadly

@@nickmaestro Now that's a great way to teach about grace in action! I'm definitely going to use this.
Wonderful example, thanks!
