Not enough to cover my medical expense for my damaged knees
200 is peanuts
200 is also an insult to all NSmen.
Got the cheek to loudly say it will cost us 240 million for this benefit yet quietly spend 3-400 million in education for foreign students who are unproven in the workforce.
Total up to millions but it’s collective amount. 😂 pay as monthlyyy
You are wrong. In Singapore standard, $600,000 is peanut.
$200 is (nothing) just enough for paying one month of HDB town council fees.
Get money and complain.
@@bin4709 Following your logic we should never criticize the government as long as we received money from them.
Might as well go full dictatorship
It will be nice if there is GE every year!
NS citizens: $200
Civil servants & minister: 20% increase in salary
How much money you have saved when you only pay allowance instead of salary to NSF?
Exactly! We lost more than 2 years of full-time income, $200 is a huge insult to all past and present NSMen.
Should tax all new citizens, PRs and foreigners 2 years of their full time salary. Give that money to all NSmen. We can't let these freeloaders get away with it.
$200 credit in exchange for 9% GST
12%
Give you $200 you complain, don't give also complain
@@kpopfantasy6874 lol
Not a bad deal seriously.
@@kpopfantasy6874typical pappy response.. opposition provide policies also complain, don't provide policies also complain...
Two hunderd dollars for my 26 years as ex regurlar, while after that end up i lost my family, my wife n my son as we are seperated. It was no family times, it was all training, oversea training, weekend burning etc😵💫😵💫😭😭😭
hello, every year u are receiving money from them what more can u ask for, ungrateful person
Give you money you complain, don't give also complain
womp womp
good luck and enjoy your retirement as a single person encik 😥
Complaining about government when you failing your own life.
For the PAP 2 million is peanuts and for the soldiers 200 is kachang puteh 😮😅
$2millions than will be enough to survived for whole life secarifice for the country.
I never think of 2 years ns my pay 90 sgd back then I gave my mother 30 dollars I scarified bro how to survive 90 dollars rod 1974
$200 dollars only for vigorous thought jungle training in Brunei and training in Taiwan up down mountain road march !
Add one more zero. Make it $2000.
Why so selfish to give your country army men who serve and will serve if the country will have to face war;why only $2 dollars? Why singapire army men was only given a sweet lolipops like a little childrens?
Like Michael Jackson. MJ love lollipops😂😂😂
Hefty fines and longer jail term to guilty property agents. Revoke their licence too.
Thank you
200 credit what a joke, remember guys we are only worth 200 credit to the gov so NSF prioritize your safety over army stuffs.
Gratitude towards National serviceman? I thought it couldn't be measured in dollars and cents.
Lower the gst or get sacked.
Past NS men who no longer Singaporean also get.
Real and effective policies -> Introduce defence tax for foreigners. Tax all new citizens and 1st gen PRs, 2 years of their full-time salary in exchange for NSF allowance. Give that money to all NSmen.
Introduce economic national service. Make them serve 2 years full time and 10 cycles of reservist. Make them do construction work or any job that is not valuable for Singaporeans to do. Then there is no need to import so many foreign workers. Overpopulation and housing issues are all solved.
Malaysians should be taxed 3.5x their salary to make it fair for Singaporeans. These taxes not only protect our economy and the Singdollar by preventing them from sending money back to their country, it can also be reinvested in Singapore and Singaporeans
We can't let these freeloaders get away with it at the expense of Singapore and Singaporeans.
Full time of their salary tax for 2 years is that reasonable? I think should let them pay tax for 14 years
Da heck how is that fair sia? If anything should lower Gov sector pay and move it to somewhere more useful right? I mean with everything we have seen this past few years, their "gov should have high pay to prevent corruption" doesn't really seem to hold up so strong anymore right?
@@hsuat5019 Agree 2 years too little. They get to clock valuable industry experience, but NSMen don't
@@stonecianomars5838 How about both? That would be the fairest
You conveniently left out women. Are women higher mortals or something?
why does he keep saying 'I will provide', 'MY gift to you' etc.?
My NS history.
2 years - 20 SAB, 21 SAB
Reservist - 206 SAB
- 118 PDF
- Civil Defence Forces
Now shake legs or legs shaking.
give more thanks
Money cant always solve prbs.
It's not about the money, the bigger issue is NS is killing jobs for guys. No NS for so called new citizens, absolutely unacceptable.
One very good reason to vote pap out.
PAP Wouldn't even implement a minimum wage, and wouldn't even be willing to peg HDB flat prices to wages, wouldn't even be willing to allow more Singaporeans to go to universities, and wouldn't allow Singaporeans to access their CPF and Medisave - all these are policy proposals Would have made in its manifesto.
I MR already but still can get?
Time to queue at Shen Shiong credits to Cash converter machine again!
No one cares for your peanuts 😮😅
This $200 is not only peanuts but also an insult to all NSmen.
For you it is. I didn’t get the any AP at all. Now unemployed. If you don’t want, may I have your peanuts
What about ex-serviceman HomeTeam, SAF, RSN, RSAF......😢some appreciation needed too,
All got lah... As long as those who received NS55 in 2022, you will get it... If not, then sorry 😊
when can we collecy
sadly the PR nsf/nsmen won't get anything cos not citizen :c
Wrong! All NSmen will get regardless if you're PR or not.
Why everyone complaining? Get money just be happy lah.
DPM Wong , how about my pitiful NS allowance in 2005 to 2007?
Herniated disc and permanent pain from all the bagpack carrying. $200/yr doesn't cover it.
How about $200 every year ?
So when are we receiving the $200
2050😊😊😊
$200 it's ashamed reward as sucessfull and advanced country and 3rd expensive and riches country in the world.
Only After Caught Red Handed, Now Trying to Play Santa Claus 👏👏👏
Anziar thinks NS men are cheapskates like him..
Singapore the best ❤
That's only on GE year when Singaporean need to vote for a new government.
My foot 🦶👣
Pay cash pls.
Some men are luddites.
I wonder if this is a GE ang bao...
The irony is that the PAP didn't even come out with much new alternative policies in its manifesto, while the WP did. With all the resources at its disposal, shouldn't we be asking the PAP why it didn't even bother to create new policies that address Singaporeans' concerns about minimum wage, healthcare, education, housing and retirement?
Still using what LKY did decades ago. No innovation by current young leaders.
The naive ones are those who trust this gov blindly
Pls lah, a drop in the ocean..
Shud not have announced it
Mai hiam la, they will still increase cost of living regardless whether u take or not.
I LOVE NS
Also don't forget a lot of NS boys became No Soul boys during their service, so what's the pap party say ??
So as singapore had changed to a multi-nation country (multi-nation-singapore) so even with the saf soldiers also no use, it's the pap party mistakes and there's no way to u-turn back.
Santa Claus Budget… All Pointing to a Coalition Government After next GE 👏👏👏
What this gov is doing is the bare minimum
yes finally free lifesg credits to spend
And after spending the lifesg money, you need to pay back for another 4 to 5 years in term of higher gst and other tax till the next GE.
Can go McDonald's 😋
👍👍👍👍👍
Never forget to help these low income earners below 40 years old, at least with their skillsfuture top-up, as they can still upgrade themself and acquire a better pay job before they are old.
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
incoming give drumstick and take chicken comments 😂😂😂
There are more caring parities in this country other then pap
Excellent! PAP is obviously the only responsible and caring party in s'pore.❤❤
Nope they are not
a clone in progress, every comment is the same for you. can make some effort to lie?
They paying you 20 cents to write this comment ah? Otherwise stop meat riding the government.

1% gst increased and it translated into 20 to 30 cent price increase all over the Board of food, everyday items, groceries, its everything going up by already expensive over the pass gst increase and fall of our dollars due to America Fed interest rate increase, not counting our own technical recession we on going now.
PAP just let the bag go and forget all about everyday people hardships once they had done the 1% increase and practically done nothing to curb the ridiculous and greedy merchants increasing their price above or to 20 to 30 cents.
After all our problems its not the politician problems as long they, their families having the best times of their lifes and never to think about ever to be in poverty or hardships.
GST hike is inevitable. SG already has one of the lowest GST rates in the world.
@@kpopfantasy6874 inevitable? By meaning no choice? You simply want us to believe we simply had no choice but force to accept the raise of GST?
why not follow Hong Kong with no Gst? Why not stay 8% to be one of the Gst lowest countries in Asia.
It is well known you PAP hasbara Will monitor any goverment news sites to project positive image of the ruling goverment.
So by claiming inevitable is utterly false since there are always better choices to chose from.
HELLO THE BUDGET WAS A GREAT DISAPPOINTMENTS IT WAS TOO LITTLE TOO LATE. I STRONGLY BELIEVE THAT IF THE OPPOSITION ARE IN GOV THEY SURELY CAN PROVIDED AT LEAST FIVE TO TEN TIMES MORE FINANCIALS ASSISTANT THEM THIS .🥵🥵🥵
