@@333reptid3 he made a quick video before the game came out saying he doesn’t think it’ll be good, which by that point could you blame him, but hasn’t said anything after the game released

@@OneCentWonder honestly I feel like he just doesn't want to give Vicarious Visions credit where it's due. Even tho the blame is mostly on Activision.
THPS1+2 remake has to be greatest love letter to the day 1 fans on Modern day system.
THUG Pro is amazing, but imagine the shit that VV could've made if Activision didn't kill their momentum.

1:33 not to come across as a staunch defender of this game, but the Revert was actually added as part of an update to the game, no DLC required. Unfortunately this game is long gone from stores so you can't access the maps. But at least this game is somewhat playable unlike Pro Skater 5, which is completely gone.
Isn’t it still possible to buy THPS 5 and download the patch at the very least?
@oo3999 You can buy a physical disc, sure. However the disc only came with a portion of the actual game, the rest you had to download from a patch, but you can't update the game anymore.

If I recall correctly, Flippy took the vid down after he knew for a fact Robomodo saw the video, and made the second video in it's place after Pro Skater 5 came out.
@@RemindArchivesNah, bruh. I think the real answer is that Flippy, at the time, is a mentally ill prick and very homophobic and he took the video down because the way he acted in the video was a symbol that he is undergoing severe mental health/depression issues.
However, in the Tony Hawk's Pro Hater 2 video that he still has up to this day, you can tell that he toned himself down a bit after taking alot of anti-depressants to cool down his angry mood swings. Honestly, I know how Flippy felt and acted. I got mental health/depression issues too, since 2016, and I've been mean, homophobic and racist towards everyone, including my friends, and that's why I got none to this very day.

Revert combos was actually the beginning of the downfall of THPS to be honest. To this day, nothing has been better then 1 and 2. lol.
THPS 3 and beyond started to become about wasting your time and talking to people, doing things for goals/missions that has absolutely nothing to do with skateboarding at all, level designs that obstruct paths and routes that you just want to explore and skate without crap in your way, using surfaces such as sand and snow to just piss you off for no reason.
In the original games the music was incredible, the map designs were perfect with only VERY MINOR obstacles to obstruct your experience and get in your way, goals and missions that never felt like an inconvenience from skate routes, and levels that after the game was completed were just still fun to skate and replay. Outside of the Airport in THPS3, all those levels in that game alone were terrible. The Foundry was just a worse warehouse, the airport was just a rehashed Mall, etc.
To people that grew up on and started on thps1, 3 was the beginning of the series getting boring.
