Impossible de rester concentrer dans mon travail quand j'entends les dernières notes du solo de Steve Crooper. Un concentré d'émotion et une classe folle au service de la musique.
Thank you Ghosts. That one gives me chills. Steve Cropper playing lead guitar a perfect compliment to Neil's crunchy rhythm playing. Great song. Awesome live version I never knew existed.
If anyone is a Neil Young fan they should listen to this album . It is a super album. The songs are beautiful ❤️. The whole album is Neil as the artist , the genius . All my friends love it . We love you Mr Neil 💖. Thank you ❤️

Thank you so much for reuploading this video. It's one of my favorite concerts, especially this song Neil wrote when his relationship with Carrie broke. But I lost it when my friend' YT account was removed, he had the full concert uploaded. It took me more than one year to find the dvd, on the other side of the planet ! Thanks to you, I can share it with my friends. I don't know yet how the original Homegrown version sounds like, but this one with Booker T and the MGs is such a gem ! 19 years later, Neil coud eventually play this suffering feelings, and it's really moving. Nothing's more real.
Yea, it reminds me of `Hitchhiker -- the part where he was talking about trying to ease a heavy load, but nonetheless, his `head did explode'. Man, this is such a great song. I see I've been playing it so differently. So bittersweet a tune.

Oh yeah?
You forgot to give the name of the album...
How can I listen to it?
@@AMEER-114- probably referring to Homegrown, the 1974 album that didn’t get released til a couple years ago and has this song on it

Never heard this song before - don’t know how I missed it back in the day. Love Steve’s guitar playing, too. Thanks for the upload!
Well, it's remained unreleased until 2020 - he only played it live in 1993 and 2014, as far as I know.
Definitely worth checking out the "Homegrown" album he recorded in '74/75 and finally released in 2020!
Such dexterity, such insight, such beauty... Neil expresses his art in so many glorious incarnations !

I was at Finsbury Park in 1993 when Neil played Separate Ways ♥️😋
I was there too. Great.
so was I a great day
I was there too, close to the stage.
heart breaking but beautiful 💔
Best version I've heard.
Neil's got a good buzz going. 😊
El mejor poeta ❤❤❤
Neil’s lookin a little rough. But playing like an Angel. What a special melody. I always love you babe. 🤙🏼🙋♀️

It's better to " burn out " than to fade away

Is he with Booker T's and the MG'S with Cropper, Duck Dunn?

Must've been a difficult song to sing. Trying to put a good face on a painful experience. So poignant.
