- Just testing a couple cars I'm working on.....so sick of the stupid custom MS, I changed the motor from torque tuned which runs nicely to a stock since I want nothing to do with this car anymore and now it barely runs.

i'm really tempted to imitate the build of that phantom blade, especially the side dampers and one-way wheels
It's one of my favourite cars I built, it's a bit light on the nose but runs well.
@@foxracerdrew yes, i saw on m4race forums it's one of your fastest cars. (which i kinda expect and it didn't disappoint) and it's a plus because not everyone builds superx or superxx. so goodjob for that

Hi. where do you buy all your tamiya needs in the UK? I'll be working there soon, so I need a hobby during my free time. thanks!
Most local hobby stores will stock tamiya models to some degree, but not m4wd. This was discontinued back in early 00's. What most of us do that are into m4wd is to order from the internet, usually direct from Japan through sites like Plaza Japan, Hobbylink Japan (HLJ), HobbySearch, etc. But you need to keep in mind that you'll have may have extra charges when ordering more than £15 in items. The charge will usually be about 20% of order cost + £8 flat process fee.
Edit: I forgot, there is Manchester Modelshop that does buy in a few once in a while, but it's about the only place in the UK that does.

One way wheels. They're essentially a one way differential.

in the race tamiya, whether the car was allowed modifications like this?
Like the car in this video? For expert/open class yes, but not for other class. If you mean like the tank/6wd/MAtorcycle, then no, they're not legal for any tamiya race.

Not on a tamiya original track. But I'm planning a meet up with some one close to me that recently got an oval track, so maybe end of the month or early december I'll have some more test video for my cars.

Sir Drew Fox any advice how can I set up a phantom blade like that its so very nice.
I forgot to make a build log while making that one, but I did some after photos to try and explain what I've done to the car, you can find more detail in this post here: m4race.com/threads/as-they-say-on-the-interwebz-first.301/#post-1988
That said, the idea I had in mind for that build was to make the car as low profile as possible while keeping the shell (I love the style of the shell). I wasn't thinking of any other factors.

What frp do you use with that hammer damper?
I was using some scrap 3mm I had left over, but 1.5mm should be fine too.

size of wheels?
I can't remember for sure but I think I made them 23mm.
Medium size? I have also phantom blade black special ilike your setup. i want to do the same with yours
Yes, I used medium sized one way wheels with the tire trimmed down to approx. 23mm, I wanted to lower the car and make it as low profile as possible.
Isee coz i try to put the large wheel with trimmed its to closed from the cowling.
