Hi, I initially thought WOW, what a good idea, but on viewing your video, it looks like it would make no difference whatsoever to saving the gimbal from the damage you say. Look at your bent gimbal - it's bent above the guard. The guard may stop the gimbal motor from being damaged, but the impact that caused it would still have bent the gimbal with the 'saver' in place, IMHO, speaking as an R&D engineer.
The gap in the bottom of the guard will help cushion the initial impact. The force will then be transfer to the flaps. This guard doesn't protect the gimbal if the camera is the first part to make impact, but the majority of gimbal repair I've done have been at the location where this guard is to be install. This Guard will help minimized the damage and in most cases would require no repair. A software calibration will solve most.
This product is not going to keep the main arm from bending when force is exerted because it's secured to the gimbal itself. Impact forces will be directly transferred to the gimbal via the mounting screws
Hey dude. i sent you email and a message here but no reply. do you still have some of the phantom 2 vision plus gimbal guard. i crashed and need one to hold the camera in place. then i 'll be able to sell or use it. thanks for your reply in advance.
Great video and excellent product. Would be a worthy part for my P4
Where is a good place to get tools for working on the phantom 4. Mainly a screwdriver set that has all drivers needed. What do you use?

Hey man, if you're going to talk in your vids - turn the music DOWN - we can't hear what you're saying over the din of the loud, unecessary, music!
