did a full rewatch of arrow recently. genuinely still enjoyable, the "bad seasons" weren't nearly as bad as I remembered.
Yeah I thought so too, S4 had its EXTREMELY bad moments (Felicity being shit with Oliver about William)
Also I remember thinking I really disliked S6 but after Rewatching it was pretty good, Maybe I enjoyed it more because I’ve thought the Recent Seasons of Flash are Awful so in Comparison S6 Arrow was far better 🤷♂️
They never are. Even at the time I always said it's not as bad as people were making out to be 👍
@@etgamer16i rewatched season 4 but skipped all the Olicity and felicity scenes that were bad and it’s overall kinda decent. Fights were still good for the most part, soundtrack was nice, Oliver as character was still decent and the transition from the arrow to green arrow was well done. Plus without season 4 we wouldn’t have season 5, the writers learned from their mistakes unlike the flash writers who just kept making bad seasons straight for at least 3-4 years

I think Arrow is the best
I don't know if people realize that, no matter what you think of this show, this version of Oliver Queen is one of, if not THE strongest live-action non-powered superhero out there, with maybe Batfleck being the only one I can think of that is technically physically stronger. You can argue that he might not be as technically skilled as someone like Charlie Cox' Daredevil, that's another debate, but on the physicality side of things, he is near peerless. We're talking about a dude who routinely kicks his opponents legs SO HARD, it actually causes them to hit their head on the ground and get knocked out in one hit. We're talking about a dude who's able to lift a grown man, by the collar, with ONE HAND and slam them on an above obstacle, like a railing.
And not only is he abnormally strong, way stronger than a person his size has any business being, but he has near superhuman levels of stamina and pain tolerance. He's just so unbelievably strong.
I’ve thought the exact same thing since I could remember. The only person I could think of who is a better fighter than this version of Green Arrow is Ben Affleck’s Batman.

Ben affleck's physique is built for strength, stephen amell's no, ben affleck is stronger but their fantasy characters are different, oliver is stronger.
Without even really trying oliver sends ppl flying while batfleck used pretty much 100% of his strength in the BvS warehouse fight
Even in terms of skills I don't think Charlie's DD is up there with him. Problem is DD has a very acrobatic way of fighting which gives the illusion that he's a better fighter, when in reality he gets tagged by common thugs regularly and his stamina is not up there either
@@abdallaabdalla1110 oliver is confirmed to be the best fighter in the multiverse, and yea DD's way of fighting is very acrobatic and non lethal, oliver's fighting style is very lethal and hes faster and stronger and better. not biased here, i love DD too but being real.
Exactly. He is the strongest/best non superpowerd fighter in live action. Batfleck doesn't have many feats at all other than beating common thugs and Deadshot if you can even count that. Even Christian Bale's Batman has MUCH better feats than Batfleck does although yes his fighting looks better by a lot but that's only cinematography, which doesn't matter when discussing feats.
I love Charlie Cox's DD but he would lose pretty quickly to prime Arrow especially if he's in killer mode. I even think S1 Arrow would beat DD but it's probably gonna be high difficulty. It's annoying to have to debate people who say DD or even Iron Fist(lmao) wins just to find out that they only say it because they like them better via them not providing any evidence to their claims.

When the character doesn't have super powers the choreography has to be good. Much better than Flash fight scenes.
In all fairness the Arrowverse was notorious for having awful CGI so Arrow being more reliant on practical effects really helped it be more visually appealing than the other shows especially during the later seasons

To be honest, if Arrow had the same first three seasons and had seasons 5 & 8 as the last two seasons, the show would be considered as good as Daredevil. Seasons 4, 6 & 7 are why the show has a bad rep.

@@Sacciuiguai Nah, I mean I respect your opinion but seasons 6 and 7 had the worst villains in the history of Arrowverse. Cayden James, Ricardo Diaz, Dante, Emiko Queen. They were neither threatening nor interesting. Especially Ricardo Diaz. They spent 1 and a half seasons with him.

It makes no sense, however, that 'The Flash' is a more famous, iconic and long-running series than 'Arrow'. It's called the "Arrowverse", after all, not "Flashverse."
