Tully ... most of the post-race interview was the jockey expressing thanks to the trainers, owners, strapper, etc so your question is somewhat redundant.
Tully the jokey’s job is to give the horse the best opportunity to win, so getting them into a good position and knowing when to save energy etc... they don’t just sit there and hold on lol
I wonder how many electric shocks Weir the grub gave the horse, he looked like he was ready to go around again. Lol the whole crowd was just stunned $100/1 shot , they didnt know how to react

Then, when she burst through that space, I went bonkers!! I had to watch the last 600m of the race several times...Lol, and was freaking proud of her as she passed the other jockeys!!! Criterion should be the real winner. Totally tainted win considering Darren Weir was the trainer and was banned from racing in 2018 for using electronic devices known as jiggers on race horses.
